Genuine question, can loan agreements be terminated early? Aarons couldn’t lace Tav’s boots, I dread to think what we’re paying him. Pulling the plug on the Mulligan deal seems to have been a monumental error from Thelwell

It's shocking they most of us thought this year was a year to get for Tav yet he should be starting ahead of a guy we brought in to start ahead of him. I do feel starting Aarons at LB has crushed his confidence.

He’s so out his depth I think. He wasn’t wanted to begin with, he’s done nothing to show that fans were wrong to think that. I’m usually all for giving managers the chance but for the money spent, the games we’ve had to start the season, this is hoaching. Conceding 2 at home to alloa, 2 games without a win in the league with st mirren and Celtic both of which are capable of beating us realistically, embarrassing in that first half and got away with it in the other ties you could argue. He couldn't even make some small tactical tweaks for a £40m game. We are all over the place. That being said the goals were so basic. Aarons is just not it. There is a reason he is spiralling in his career. If he is still underwhelming at Christmas I'd cut the loan. I'd be bringing in Johnston from Sturm Graz. Ticks the euro squad list as well. Souttar is a bombscare with his passing. Rothwell just doesn't tackle. Diomande is dross and has been since last season. Rome wasn't built in a day I suppose. But this is more akin to Pompeii.

Couple of things he said: “We won’t concede goals like that again” Ok, that’s on record and comes off the back of Alloa and now Brugge. “I understand that the fans have suffered for 14 out of 15 years, so I understand that, they’re so entitled to their opinion.” That’s actually the most crystal clear thing anyone has said in a position of leadership at the club for years. The only problem with it is that it should be coming from Patrick Stewart and the club Ownership acknowledging the size of the project they’ve bought; the size of the problem they’ve bought, and pivoting the response to it to meet the reality.
