I don't get why people are so principled about the comedians. Jealousy? If I got a phone call tomorrow saying I'm the legal heir to Ian Watkins estate then I'll absolutely accept it. 'how much? Fantastic, I can get that jacket I had my eye on'.

On the point about comedians taking money for a Saudi comedy festival when they are successful and probably don't need the money, it is probably similar to Gerrard managing there.

I think it’s just the hypocrisy. When your schtick is the anarchic, say-anything, sticking-it-to-the-man and you go sign a contract saying you’ll be super-nice about Saudi then you’ll get the piss ripped out you. S’only fair.
