Content

From April 2019 Colin takes a break from ex-players and looks at some unforgettable memories the English Premier League produced in the 90s.

Pod Overlord David Edgar joins him to pick his favourite moments from the era and to discuss the music that accompanied it.

22 man brawls, record signings, kung fu kicks and white suits are just some of the moments discussed. David also explains why there's no techno on the site.

Very enjoyable pod but I did not know that the overlord performed in a covers band. You learn something new everyday.

90s just seems to be the pinnacle of football. Serie A, EPL and Rangers all at their peak

Just life in general Scott. Before all these youngsters with their internets and no socks ruined it.

Nailed on with music at fourteen.I was fourteen in ‘72.Ziggy Stardust,Transformer,Roxy Music,Talking Book,Harvest,Exile On Main Street an almost endless list of albums.I’d like to claim I heard #1 Record that year but I’d be a fucking liar.It would be about seven years before I said ‘that came out when?’ Great year for the football too. Cracking work guys.

As a big fan of the band ash , my favourite thing about the cantona kung Fu kick is when they had to ask his permission to use the photo as the cover to their single Kung Fu, he replied "I spit on your record"

Lee Colvin

Great show and great memories.
