The living daylights was a good solid Bond Film and Dalton had a good debut as Bond. The only problem being that audiences were not ready for a serious Bond after the Moore years which were light hearted and had become a parody.

We watched all the Bonds with our kids over the last few years and I was slightly dreading the Living Daylights but it is a cracking Bond film - it has everything you would expect. It’s a shame that he never got the chance of a 3rd or more over the barren years.
