The raptors scared the shit out of me as a 5 year old but it’s still to this day 1 of my favourite Sunday films. Modern day classic.

This was a truly groundbreaking film at the time. The animatronics and the CGI were superbly done and the acting perfect. What doesn't get mentioned enough in my opinion is the musical score. Mr John Williams a true genius. The music leading up to where we see the first dinosaur still to the day makes the hair on my neck stand up A masterpiece

It’s one of the best soundtracks for sure. Still feel like a wee kid again hearing the theme 😃

David Carslaw

Never thought I'd hear anyone on the H&H podcast talking about the Screen Machine. 🤣

Real terror and sustained awesome animatronics and great cast makes this one of Steven Spielbergs best

Probably the film I have seen more than any other. In the summer of 1993 I worked in the old Odeon in Kilmarnock and saw most of it countless times. Even paid to get in and watch it. Thanks to the podders for bring back some good memories.
