It's time to get our passports back out as Rangers head to Germany to take on Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League playoff round first leg.

For the German giants, this match represents their 1,000 European match in the Westafenstadion and will see them play host to the very same visiting side as their 1st game in the area.

Alex, Steven and Kevin provide The Preview and talk you through what we can expect from Thursday nights game.

Looking forward to this game and how we set up and perform at a higher level. I have a concern about the mental fragility of this team (Goldson admitting collapse against Hibs in the cup, MacGregor freely calling out Barisic at Parkhead) and that is what needs to be consistent going forward. This is an opportunity to demonstrate a better mental toughness no matter what happens.

Bassey & Barasic are the positions that worry me most against this mob - if they manage to stand up to the inevitable pressure then we've got a boxer's chance! 👊

Biggest challenge for us by far this Season. I'm still confused by our performance at Celtic Park and hope the team don't have another horror show like that ever again. Dig in, hold them back, fight for every ball and try and counter them on the break. Would love a win away but tbh I'll take a draw back to home soil against this new Hollywood FC team. Our mentality must be right on the night or we could be out of the next round after the first leg. It's a believe and hopefully achieve game but what a confidence boost if we do this. Play up the Rangers. WATP

The champions of Scotland playing against a premier club at a great stadium. Sadly the media here just don’t seem to recognise that it’s our club who flys the flag in Europe. Expecting a good compact performance from us tomorrow.

If you try to look at levels dispassionately, Dortmund are 16th in the UEFA coefficients Porto are 17th, Villareal are 20th, but have shot up dramatically since we played them Lyon are 22nd, Benfica 26th, Leverkusen 31st, Slavia Praha 32nd We have been competitive against those six teams (except maybe Leverkusen) but have one win, seven draws and four defeats against them. Dortmund are above them all and on paper are certainly the toughest we've had to deal with I fear a bit for Barisic and Bassey, Dortmund would be remiss if they do not target them and with their attacking quality, it's going to be a tough test This is why we love sport though - you just never know. If we set up well and look to exploit the areas Steven highlighted and if Alfie is in the mood then just maybe there's a chance

Good point! We are definitely a bit more cohesive at the back and going forward when Jack plays and Arfield is always tenacious at both ends of the pitch too so hopefully we can play to those strengths
