We don't have the bottle this season

BlueJay

I was at the game, so I don’t know if both goals should have been ruled out. But, why is is it just about every shot in domestic games goes in for the jobbers?

Stuart cunningham

Team was on its ars at 60 mins and we made 1 sub unbelievable. For me we should have got souter instead of ramsey in January defence was more important at the time and its costing us. Rageing today

John Hutchison

Sorry podders but normally, I'm straight into the post match car pod without delay, but I'm so scunnered by that performance, I need time away. I've still not recovered from the Dundee Utd disappointment. Will listen in the morning.

William Jolly

Don’t talk about January signings, we were cruising first half and let complacency set in poor show from the players

Al-WATP

Cammy - your comments in the first couple of minutes sums it up for me. Castore are way beyond the taking the piss line with the number of ridiculously expensive tops and we needed players who would improve our starting eleven and our transfer window seen us bring in a guy that has struggled with injury all his career and hadn’t played for several months and a Man Utd youth project. I would also suggest that the previous two transfer windows were also very underwhelming and again didn’t improve our starting eleven - albeit I accept Lundstram has definitely been good the last month or so. I thought Gio was spot on tactically during the week but was found wanting today, don’t understand the lack of subs when it clearly wasn’t happening second half. I’m still in disbelief that we didn’t win that game. It feels like we’re determined to give them this league

Rod

This group of players are winning nothing, bottle merchants.

KAD87

The failure to get Soutar is absolute amateur hour

Tamus

Harry Potter needs called out - 90% of his signings have beem shite

KAD87

Mentally we don’t have it this year. We’ve just said to Celtic “go make a mistake and it doesn’t matter - we won’t be making it count”. Pathetic performance and to be honest we have no complaints, they don’t deserve a title with this level of form. They can all chase someone else for £42 a match, because that is absolutely horrendous. Ars*holes.

Tamus

Allan McGregor is Done - thanks for your service - please stand down

Tamus

Tell me about the huge wage increase you think you deserve Connor

Craig Ferguson

It would have been a massive shift in momentum if we had of won today, all the pressure would have been on them for a tough game at livingston next week. We blew it and it could be a season defining moment.

David Woods

Saw some people calling for a ‘Timplosion’ at half time!!!!!!! Aye….right! I’ll give one for the Tims for their ‘Gersplosion’ tonight. Just cancelled my RTV. Had enough with this team. Joke. Dortmund? Europa League? Belgrade? ……. You’re having a laugh. Win your own domestic league. Anything else is a bonus. Home to Motherwell. 2 up at half time. Finishes 2 2. Poor, poor, poor. If they go on and win the league - fair enough. If they don’t - fair enough. So disappointed. A small window opened up for them today and they blew it big time. Won’t get many other opportunities. At least we’ll win the Europa League - aye right!!!! Good night 😟

CRAIG CASSELLS

Can someone please explain what it is about the winter break that sees us return as an absolute shambles. Our league form on return from the first two winter breaks under SG was also very poor but this one takes the biscuit, a comfortable 6 pt lead thrown away with only 3 wins from 8 has us looking little better than mid table SPFL jobbers. This is no blip.

STOOJIE

Goldson is a bombscare, I honestly don't see what people see in him. Since day 1 he's been average. Even when the fan boys were gushing about him last season I just didn't see it. Thank fuck he's off at the end of the season

Al-WATP

And Cammy I totally agree re Kamara and Aribo, the number of backward passes was ridiculous.

Andrew Hind

This is like the failed 10 in a row season all over again

Paul

Gutted about the result. Sadly it's a pattern of our season. January looks like it was a massive mistake. However it was good to meet big Cammy and the boys from the car pod before the match. Keep up the good work boys. 👍

Tommy

Spot on fellas

Gordon Millar

Can we trust this team, when it comes to a fight? Going into injury time we simply failed to get the ball into the box, it looked like the team had accepted the result at that point. The game was screaming out for Balogan at 2-1....agree Kamara was poor, never drove into space, content to build slowly when it just wasn't working. For me modern managers trust players too much, should have freshened up around 60 mins. On referees/linesmen beginning to wonder what's the point of going to games....it is just beyond a joke now. Deeply frustrating day, manager and players let us down big time!

Al-WATP

Adam I could not agree more. He’s up there with the most over rated players I’ve ever seen at Ibrox. As you said, he’s been average at best and that was shown again tonight. I have no moans about him walking away for nothing in the summer cause we need much better

David Woods

Ps. As an Arsenal supporter as well, I could have told you about Ramsey!!!!!! As could any Arsenal or Juventus supporter. Soooooooooo injury prone. Not surprise by his lack of playing time. There used to be a player for S*urs called Darren Anderton- better known as ‘Sick Note’. Ramsey ditto. Unbelievable.

Spoon

I don’t think it’s about bottle I think it’s key people being relied on when history tells you they can’t do the jobs they are being asked to. At 2-0 nobody was questioning anything but in 15 minutes it was clear we had decided to free wheel, Kamara was back to pulling out of any forward pass and dwelling on ball and Arfield has had his half a dozen games a season where he makes good decisions and can finish. Aribo disappeared like homer into the hedge bar flashes but middle to front it was predictable, energetic, sustained pressure but last decision / pass / shot was the wrong option. For me we just don’t have the killer instinct or desire to actually punish teams. We need to take all their fouling, time wasting and niggle and turn it into contempt for them. We are too nice and the midfield without Jack or Arfield lacks the drive or nastiness we need. Frustrating stuff but in reality it’s no change and we beat them twice it won’t matter. Points cannot continue to be dropped though, as they will stumble again and we must take advantage.

Al-WATP

Cannot disagree with any of your comments Cammy 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

David Bold

Surely nobody is surprised today? Time after time, for years now, this squad of players have shown that if you put any pressure on them, they collapse. They were awful under SG and now they will likely get GVB sacked, although, he has hardly shown that he is the right man anyway. At least we still have the Last-16 open-top bus tour to celebrate.

David

We are in the process of handing the title to them in a silver platter. Gio needs to clear this squad out and recycle the money and try and rebuild before the Champions League qualifiers. Try and get Kent and Morelos tied down. Everyone else can go

William Jolly

Guff, it was the players on the park today first half opposed to the second half not the January signings

John leitch

We blew it today 2 nil up at half time we should have kicked on Subs were needed before 60 mins to freshen up

William Hughes

Lost count in corners. Tav just takes everything with fuck all to show for any one of them. No desire to win a header. Second half was a shit show. Management need to carry this. Needed changing pretty early on. Roofe on with 8 minutes to goin wasn't the answer. Balogen has to come on at 2-1. Midfield has no dig, forward line non existent. Pish.

Dougie

This entire season has been a disaster. We had a huge position of strength thrown away by not strengthening the first XI. We lost to Malmo losing £ millions and have leaked goals all season. Recruitment has been a shambles. Brainfart defending has let a very average side be ahead of us. What is the point of beating Dortmund over 2 legs when you cant beat below average sides Aberdeen Ross Cty Dundee Utd and Motherwell.. A transfer window of getting Ramsey-never fit and Amad-an apprentice-costing £ 000s - instead of spending an extra 250k to get Soutar.

Doug Young

Agree this is not about recruitment. This was about tempo. Kamara was an anchor, Arfield went up more cul-de-sacs than a milkman and Aribo was off it. Balogun for Kamara, Lundstram to the midfield, Lowry for Aribo and anyone else for Kamara was so obvious, it was tragic. Ref was shit, but 30 shots against 5 and drawing 2-2 is just fucking criminal.

Doug Young

And as for the comment above about our wasted corners - spot on. Useless for us, just useless.

David Bold

Morelos should go also. We can't continue to create as many chances, almost 20 odd a game, and only score 1 or 2. He is not the striker we need. Really good player, especially in games such as Dortmund, but we need a Kris Boyd, who loved these domestic games and always got us over the line when it really mattered.

Graeme Brown

I don’t get this John Souttar revisionism at all. Hearts were wanting £500,000 for a centre half that we didn’t desperately need. If we were utterly desperate we could have brought Katic back from loan. What if we’d signed him? What if he’d been out jumped at Tannadice too? What if he’d snapped his Achilles’ tendon for the third time 5 minutes into his debut? What if…? Listen to any of the transfer windows shows for the last 3 1/2 years and there are two constants; we need a right sided attacker and a number 8. At the time, I’d guess - conservatively - that 50% of the Rangers support would have been angered had we turned down a loan move for a £30million pound right winger, and an international box to box midfielder from Serie A, for the second best centre half at Hearts who’s torn his Achilles’ tendon twice in the last two years. If we’re gambling with a £40 million pound champions league windfall - and we are - we should have spent a hell of a lot more, and on a hell of a lot more quality than John Souttar. Todays result rests with the manager, and the ref. We had enough chances to win todays game twice over.

Mike Black

Everybody involved today was culpable. But MacGregor needs stood down. The plain fact of matter is that we as a club, should not be playing a 40 year old as goalkeeper. It is ludicrous particularly when we have an international goalie on the bench.

Alexander Laird

Top class pod guys! Covered all my thoughts and left me with not much more to say 🤫!

Alan Cowan

Can I ask why you think Sakala had a good match?. He took his goal well but did nothing apart from lose the one on one with Motherwell defender

Gazza G

Aribo is a shadow of the player he was before AFCON. Is it mental or physical fatigue? MOM? The hospitality must have been good today lol.

Elaine Campbell

One of the best car pods I've heard in such a long time. Ranty, angry, sweary Cammy is us all today 🤬

William

Of course Gio is going to say the mentality us fine, please ask him why we have dropped 11 points in 8 games..

Adam Williamson

I thought we were past performances like that, chucking another 2 points away needlessly to absolute garbage at home. Unfortunately I feel we’ve now dropped far too many points for this to be recovered. Our domestic form since Pittodrie has been an absolute bin fire. Players and management need to have a serious look at themselves.

Stephen

Nail on head Cammy. Kamara has been an empty jersey for entirely too long. Sideways, backwards and won't/can't shoot. Bears thinking he's worth an 8 figure transfer fee are mental. He was also a disaster on Thursday. Some of it falls on Gio for leaving him on, but he adds nothing.

KMS

I'm at the point that If Goldson gets injured I don't care. The thing here is, he's free to leave, he's knocked back the contract offers, his eye is off the ball and looking elsewhere, he won't lay his body on the line for us because subconsciously he's elsewhere, he won't want to get injured, that will be in his mind and for those reasons alone he is not indispensable, who do we bring in?, well if we have all these players coming through the academy and so on, if we don't have one centre half among them to cover 10 games then we are truly in a bad place, and I get the whole throwing a young lad in at the deep end but this is the making of any player, they should revel in the challenge. Presently we are surrendering our league title with a whimper, celtic are not winning this, we're giving it away, just like we surrendered the league Cup and I will not be surprised if we do similar in the Scottish Cup. They win the league and we hand them the money to rebuild and strengthen further and we are on the brink of another massive rebuild, the kind that hindered us in the recent past.... It will be a treble for them and a free hit at the champions league. The money from that will either bankroll their squad being upgraded, or be banked to save their skin from upcoming court cases and stop them going out of existence.

Mr J K Murray

watch the 1st half & saw no points difficulty. On my way to Chrisitan assmebly, thought will proberly read we draw or lose after. Still shocked at the result, Im a TV Rangers fan due to health, but been watching this for the playing fan for quite a while, people travel, que, shuffle to watch the games at Ibrox. Time consuming. Even as Tv fellow you end up like this, miffed becuase the players are beyond punch and judy at the beach papal rubbish, could say more but im already treading on peoples feet to be heard. Euro game aginast Kloops old side was ok, they are subjected in there history to poor resluts even with Klopp at the helm. You rest players after Euro, its Motherwell, but who can you bring in. Our goalkeeper is 40yrs old playing two games over the last month & travelling, yer eye sight is not as good as a person in thier 20s, he made good saves in 2- draw, but he is letting the fans down, its mismangement, of which theres a lot of it. Want to play in the Champions league & thats disppearing with a wimper, unless they pick up, do not want to be watching rubbish & continued mismanagement excuses, tactics/players, glad did not see the 2nd half. If im a paying fan its not accpetable, as a Chrisitan ,see it as hero worship, but you are born into this team . agree with your analysis.

QB_72

Having Ramsey in the squad feels like playing where's Wally at the moment and we are fast running out of time for him to be of any use to us. European hangover result again and blew a chance to grab some points back in the league. Feels like a loss not a draw tbh.

Laura McCrimmon

Totally agree with the viewpoint on kamara, he has been poor this whole season for me and I don't understand why Davis is being overlooked for him. Yes Davis was hadn't been given outstanding performances this season but I still believe he has been better than kamarax I have thought he's been poor all season. Kamara slows the play and that's not what we didnt in the 2nd half yesterday. We needed changes yesterday and I don't understand why gio didn't make anymore in that 2nd half.

Gordon Price

Few home truths here, players are massively letting the fans down. We want this league so badly but seems like the players don’t. Just not good enough.

Crawford McIntyre

When we drew with Motherwell 1-1 earlier in the season at Ibrox, Motherwell played decent and caused us problems. I don't think they played well at all this time but still managed to get a result

Lynn Houston

Way too passive on and off the park 2nd half… change things! Why don’t we move in a forward motion? Take the chance, even once! Their first goal kamara should’ve demanded the pass seeing his teammates under pressure but no! In isolation these are the small choices/changes that matter. Players/ management take it, because we have to. Europa league is frosting, We need to be retaining our Championship… simple. Nothing wrong with a title battle, who dares wins!!
