The fact of the matter is, we she should of have lifted that trophy. In retrospect I wish we could have traded this for the victory at Parkhead as sweet as it was

Grant Sneddon

Thanks again for the invite Andy and Ross to co-host so Ross could have his therapy session. "Pleasure" coming on

I wouldn’t change anything. Yeah it still stings but ultimately it all lead to us winning 55. Playing them off the park again at their own place after the defeat was a big character building moment for team i feel.

I don’t really think this game had much bearing on how the “rest of the season” turned out…fans are obsessed with narratives and cliches but we recovered to have a great December with it ending in beating them at their place….the collapse that came in the January didn’t have anything to do with this game.

Not even going to listen to this one. I genuinely don't think I have seen Rangers play better than Celtic and lose

Still hurts man

Andy Barnett

There’s no doubting it had an effect. We still couldn’t get over the line to win silverware- as would prove to be the case later in this season.

Gary Shaw

Do you think not picking a goalie up at a corner(St Johnstone) or a goalkeeper unable to come for a corner(St Mirren) is because we couldn’t beat that lot in a cup final??

Bob MacCallum

The most painful aspect of this one was that we had been so superior, that we DESERVED to win the cup. PS I would love to come on your show and discuss one of the most painful experiences for me : May 1979 when Celtic beat us 4-2 to clinch the title. That was some season, Greig's 1st as manager, ending in a big anti-climax. I enjoyed appearing on Alan Bradley's Who Are You show so would be happy to appear on yours.

Listened today and omg it still hurts today, that l result was such a kick in the teeth. Stupidly I went back and watched highlights on YouTube as I had forgot how bad the offside goal actually was, it was so clear its unreal. I agreed with u tho Andy I was angry at the decision for Alfie ot take penalty at the time. I know tav had been having bother with them but for me he's the captain he should have took it, it was way too much pressure on alfie was that he can't score against them rubbish. After the game I just felt so deflated that we had played so damn good and it just didn't happen for us and I was worried it would hinder us and I certainly didn't envisage 55 happening in the manner that it did. Oh how exciting it is to be a rangers fan 😂
