Grant, Ross and Andy are back to discuss one of Rangers finest between the sticks. From Advocaat’s expensive Christmas present to breaking hearts across the country, Stefan Klos has etched himself into Rangers history as being one of the best keepers we have had.

The boys discuss it all and even put their necks on the line as they give their own opinions on the “greatest ever keeper” debate.

When this popped up I thought it said Singing Sensations. Slightly disappointed. A future show? Can we make requests?

Grant Sneddon

Andy already has a brief cameo on episode 1 and has a very good singing voice. You never know Rona

Rangers made him a very rich man. I think he was on 40k a week.

Gary Shaw

Not even in the Top 2 for me but all about opinions I suppose….Never forgave him when he bricked it from Balde at Parkheid…

Allan Waltham

Who's playing with the poker chips?

Scott Watson

Was he not right up there with the top earners in Europe at the time? Worth it anyway 😄

Great chat on a Gers great. I remember at the time of signing him the papers here described him as " giant German keeper" - either their usual inaccuracy or an attempt at alliteration...as he was just under 6 ft tall. In 61 years of watching Gers keepers, here are my top 5: Goram, Klos, McGregor, Woods, Waterreus.

Ross Hutton

Thank you Bob! Interesting top 3 actually, I'd always just assumed it was a straight shootout between Goram and McGregor for top 2

Bob MacCallum

Andy, steady on. Bobby Brown was before even my time. Almost picked McCloy ahead of Waterreus. Maybe I should have but can still remember some of his boobs. Maybe if Waterreus had had the same length of service, that would have applied to him too. Plus, the Girvan Lighthouse could punt the ball into the opposition box BUT Waterreus is the best keeper I've ever seen at precise kicking out to a team-mate.

Gary Shaw

It is those 2 for me,Ross…Goram was the best GK in the world for me for an 18 month spell but McGregor has been better for a much more sustained period of time,so for me McGregor shaves it(just)

Klos was a top keeper but for us to be paying that kind of salary was frankly ridiculous given he spent most Saturday afternoons a virtual spectator. We'd have been better using that money on outfield players. Did he also refuse to play for the reserves when he was recovering from the shoulder injury? That wouldn't have helped his rehabilitation. Keeping Klos on his wages as second choice wasn't great for a club cutting costs.
