I'm pretty sure Alan Hutton gave his top to the first kid that ran on. That probably helped escalate the situation to what it became.. that said. I was pissed off at the situation, and I'm hoping it stops ASAP.

Stephen

I saw Hutton doing that and I knew that was just going to open the floodgates!

There was a family going in front of me each with signs asking for players tops. The club should remove these signs before they even get in the ground. The dortmund game it was actually a little boy with a Brock Lesnar cut that came out of the Copland. When I was 10 on a guided tour I took one step on the turf, John Greig told me to get off the park and I’ve never set foot on it since

michael Cochrane

I agree these parevts making their kids take cardboard signs begging for tops is out of hand ! The best way is to ban them esp if they let the kids go on the park chasing tops 😡

Simon H&H

Remove signs Remove these people from the ground if they run on with a years ban as a deterrent. Has to be done 😃

Showing my age here, last time I was on a pitch was the 1980 Cup Final. I got a burst lip off a copper and when I got home my old man gave me another one! But it was not all bad, I got two cans off the lads on the bus :-)

Blair

That song on the intro sounds like the backing track for a center parcs advert lol

KMS

if you or your kid goes on the pitch you get a ban, no season ticket refund and you get put to the absolute bottom of any waiting list, no cup, no friendly, no away tickets either. If someone then loans you their smartcard or gets you a ticket...they get a ban too.

Jamba

Left a sour note on what should’ve been a celebration. Am sure the players weren’t too happy either. They won’t know if they’ll ever get the chance to do a lap of the pitch in front of a packed Ibrox again.

Allister

The running on the pitch needs to stop. If that was to happen on Sunday it could quickly become really unsavory

I hate seeing those signs asking for shirts. Maybe it's generational and I'm just grouchy because my parents would have leathered me. Sadly we've got to the point now where it's taken out of parents hands. Absolutely spot on Tess the foolishness of this petty spat between King and Park is not going to do either of them any favours in the long run. Everyone's already sick of it. "we've spoken about how fond of money they are" great backhander.👏

Craig

Bit disappointed that Chris Jack seems to have become King's creature lately. The Albertz thing just shows how seriously these columns "written" by ex pros should be taken. Answering a few questions for a hack who already has the broad strokes of the story in place.

Brian Rae

The scenes at the end of the match was an absolute embarrassment and the club need to clamp down on this. Astonishing how entitled some think they are.

Martin Davies

Happy Place has been stuck in my head since Sat and you've just reinforced it! Their version of Blue Sea of Ibrox is brilliant.

Gary Brown

Good update guys👍 It is very disappointing that we never got the chance to thank the players, coaches & staff, etc on a lap of the pitch and for us to enjoy a little more time seeing & celebrating all those Legends of our club and the game. Self entitled, selfish kids & parents spoiling it for everyone else. With older 'invaders' it is now a very different problem - the word hooligans likely appearing in media next. There are enough twisters of truth (eg the Albertz column, Gazza's agent's lad) who want to attack Rangers at every & any opportunity. These pitch invasions have to stop now, the harshest penalties issued to anyone who does go on the pitch.
