Are we now referring to the Ovies as crush rather than crash?

Prior Proper Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance 😀

Very good show, many thanks to all Hope the predictions of our favourite three words come true, as much for the hysteria as the goal

Gary Brown

Great show guys - a nice tonic after yesterday. Thanks

Gary Shaw

Great show but find it interesting when speaking about big Albertz that you mentioned he didn’t have as big an impact as Paul or Brian…I would argue he had an even greater impact than both of them when you consider his goals and assists against them aswell as the psychological fear he put in them.

Grant Sneddon

I think there is a fair point in there mate, however on a personal note I think there was more games that passed Albertz by thinking the 5-1 and 6-2 games under Advocaat however the games that he impacted were certainly meaningful

Gary Shaw

He didn’t play in the 6-2 game mate,he got injured the week before in a meaningless 2nd leg qualifier which boiled my blood as we were 3 up from the first leg…think he lasted an hour in the 5-1 game….as much as I loved our 2 superstars,I think the Hammer hurt them more…pretty sure he played a part in every goal during our 9IAR season against them and a right few in the seasons that followed

Grant Sneddon

Thats very true mate about 9IAR season. I think playing wise you would be right however do you think that their fans worried more about Gazza and Laudrup more as they maybe didn't rate Albertz as much as we did?

Gary Shaw

I can only go with what my Celtic supporting mates(yeah,I know staunch points deducted)thought back then and that was Albertz gave them the fear more…For me Laudrup is the greatest player that I’ve ever seen wear that jersey but Albertz has and always will be my favourite….would love to have seen the Hammer as a midfielder in there with Gascoigne rather than shunted out at fullback to accommodate others
