David discusses the awful loss at Ibrox today.

Damien Stubbs

Spot on and spot on at the presser.

Brian Moore

David, well done for keeping the chin up and providing us with content. Gee that can a good kick for me too. WATP

Gary Shaw

That today reminded me of the game a few years back when Murty was in charge and we started off like a train and got the early goal through Windass to be then pegged back….we go into the second half with all the possession but look as if we could play for days and not score

Gary Shaw

You weren’t wrong about Roofe,David….he has looked sharp in the last few games but yet again when it really mattered, just like Aribo,he has failed to turn up….

Alastair McGeoch

It’s similar to Caxihna I feel. That’s two old firm games in a row where GVB seems to have not learnt. If this continues and we fail to land a punch on them across the remaining two games then I am not sure GVB should be the one leading the rebuild

Scott Watson

Credit to you for still having the composure to record a video that was fair but measured Overlord, not a fun one I imagine

Scottie

Agree with your sentiments about the players look to have checked out. Time for Roofe, Aribo, Goldson, Barisic and others to leave and let Gio bring in who he wants and build HIS team

Martin Davies

The league is gone and the EL is a big ask, but I feel Gio needs to win the Scottish Cup + have a strong finish to the league to have any chance of being Rangers manager longer term. I'm a big believer that a manager needs a few transfer windows to truly put his stamp on a team, but Gio has blown the league not in the 2 games vs C*ltic but in failing to take out the bins vs the rest of the SPL. He shouldn't need a transfer window to beat Ross Co, Motherwell, etc. For me, the jury is out on Gio's future with that 12 point swing as exhibit A.

Derek MacMillan

Side issue, but biggest game of the season and at half time - rather than trying to pump up the fans we get a load of adverts for films, nft's, Harry styles etc. I mean come on to fuck. It sucked even more of the atmosphere out of the ground. I know we're all customers in the commercial teams eyes but they have to realise that flogging stuff constantly doesn't create an atmosphere. Videos of wins over them and getting the fans pumped up can make a difference. There's no proper thinking here, would be curious what our director of football thinks of marginal gains in sport.

Trev @JimmyBell_Loyal

David, if you get the chance, can you ask the gaffer why he keeps playing Aribo when he clearly looks fucked?? I’d be curious as to what Gio will say to that.

Steve Clark

This team and you have said it before David shit the bed at a set back during the game.when we lost the equalizer you could see the players shrink and stop doing all the good things they had done in the early part of the game.surely as well we can come up with better than pass, pass, pass along the back line before somebody launches a diagonal

David

50% win record in 2022 is sacking territory. We are a shambles from top to bottom at the minute. It's hard to see any light at the end of the tunnel right now. We need King back in that boardroom as standards have slipped from the day he left.

Stephen Grant

We haven’t invested from a position of strength , sums it up really , they knew what this meant like we did last season , the board must back Gio Some of the moronic element of our support is utterly depressing also

Gary Shaw

I’ve banged the drum for Lowry for a while but if GVB doesn’t use him in these last 9 games or so and continues to flood the bench with 30+ year olds and umpteen defensive midfielders then I wouldn’t blame the boy and his representatives if they started looking elsewhere

Douglas Hannah

Speaks volumes for the ones who have checked out, you are the champions, playing at home a win puts you level in championship race, and you cannot be arsed. The AFCON thing is complete bull as far as Aribo is concerned, today I watched a lazy player who badly let his teammates down, get him ditched Gio or he will be one of the main culprits to cost you your job. Big calls are going to be needed to be made in days ahead, hope for Gio sake he has balls to make them.

Douglas Hannah

PS hope the cretin who launched the bottle is caught dealt with and receives lifetime ban.

Linda Mackay

The nucleus of this group of players have blown the league after Xmas 3 out of 4 seasons. Yes, they have done well in Europe and brought money into the club but as fans we want to win trophies. All the good work we put into improving the coefficient only to hand the Champions League prize to them on a plate. Quite unbelievable!

stephen

I've tried to write a comment a few times now and just can't get to the end of it. I think David is spot on about players just not able to lift themselves to do the day job and that for me is unforgivable. I've been disappointed many times being a rangers fan but this is as bad as it's ever been. Sickening.

Gary Shaw

Worse than scoring a consolation in a 5-1 doing from them and the tannoy guy playing the “goal tune”?😂

stephen

😂😂😂 fair point, maybe expectations are different these days. I genuinely thought we where in the driving seat today.

Martin Davies

I don't think Aribo is tired or lacking fitness. He's just got absolutely zero will to win.

Martin Davies

Unlike missile throwers from the East End, I hope we actually identify and ban the culprit for life.

Martin Davies

Good to see H&H on the advertising boards today by the way.

William

The League has gone For the last league games, its time to bring in the the very talented youth, Lowrie, McCann, etc And keep some key players fit for the Europa league

Gary Shaw

I’m usually guilty of being the most glass half empty guy you could find when it comes to our beloved club but there’s been a plethora of horrible times over the last 10 years that have been worse than this…I hate using the phrase “remember where we have been” but those were real bad times…imagine someone told us 4yr ago we’d be going into a a Europa League quarter final and a SC Semi final on a downer😂

stephen

No you're absolutely right, we have been through hell and back, expectations today have just caught me out a bit as I'm quite honestly usually the annoying glass half full guy. Thursday we go again.

Rona Bluebell

Posting late. Been wrapped up in my bubble of being understanding and measured, but the pain has kicked in deep now. Feel utterly sad at a league gifted away. 😔

Lynn Houston

I don’t ever want to point out individuals, it is a team sport, collective responsibility…. Simply not the best!! effort, intelligence, endeavour, mentality and belief. We sold the jerseys !!

Gary Shaw

Just on a wee sentimental note, this is why I love being a part of H&H…I live with my wife and two 9 yr old daughters and they can’t understand why I’m stomping around the house and slapping my own forehead…I might not agree with some of the posts on here but at least I know we’re all going through this mental torture together and when the good times roll back around(which they will),we will celebrate together again ❤️🤍💙

Robert Reid Jnr

I don't think anyone would have noticed if Roofe wasn't playing today. His work rate was embarrassing. Unfortunately we have no other options.

Heart and Hand

Absolutely - and when you see some of the opinions on other media, I think on here we’re a fairly respectful bunch! We’re all hurting tonight, we’ve all been let down but…we’ll be here long after everyone playing today has gone. We are the only ones who understand what each other are going through.

KMS

Kent made his name with us because of his utter disregard and contempt for that lot and would regularly embarrass them, lately he beats himself more that an opponent. Aribo is just an empty Jersey, has been for months, Also I hope when McGregor picks up his final paycheck from us it's not six yards away from him, he will never come for it! on every level he has deteriorated badly and what's the point in producing a world class save when you've shipped two absolute howlers?, it's becoming a weekly occurrence. I could go on and on but what's the point?, it's there for all to see, the only person blind to it seems to be our manager and it will invariably cost him his job if he doesn't wake up to it soon.

KMS

I will raise you Aribos work rate which was on a whole different level of lazyarsititis to anyone else on that park

Gary Shaw

Exactly David and thank you to yourself and all the other guys on the network for firing out so much content to keep us going…WATP ❤️🤍💙

David Rome

Martyn and Andy McG for the flagship tonight please David.

David Scott

If this team don’t there Sh1t together very quickly the fans will disengage from them and the end of the season could be very uncomfortable.

Stuart MacKenzie

Looking at the rebuild Celtic did last season- they sold ajer and edouard (neither of whom kicked a ball all season last year) for decent cash in the last year of their deals and spent reasonably well. No reason why we can’t do the same with this summers rebuild and some of our players heading out the door.
