NFTs easily explained (disclaimer I am not an expert in anything). They're setting it up for some sort of copyright algorithm that's gonna go through everything online and basically demand money albeit small enough you'll say aye, whenever they use the image/file you own the NFT for. It may take off, it may not. I mean who saw Tik Tok coming in a post YouTube world 🤣

It's a scam, as David Marshall said, it's not that fair removed from a Ponzi scheme. At the very least it's rife with scammers. Likely a bit of both. Plenty of high profile cases emerging now of people promising services in the NFT space and then quickly washing the money then removing it from the crypto space. Federal government are starting to take an interest now, so the jig is up. Interesting to see where it goes from there, also a bit worried about potential reputational blowback given our club's early adoption of it.
