Great point Davie about the B team and it providing a platform for the fans to “know” them. I feel more aware and more connected to the youth team than ever before.

George Higgins

Regards the rest of the SPFL top six. Surely there are two European spots to play for ?

Stuart Borland

Disagree throwing people already in BF3 away so the UB can take their seats. I'm in BF3 and like my seat. Why don't you suggest the goal behind the copland and moving those fans?

Alexander Laird

Particularly happy to hear of an award for Calvin. He has it all really as a footballer. Strength, skill, very intelligent- and like you said David - a real willingness to learn and improve further. We have another diamond in the big man😉.

Gary Brown

Thanks for the update David, lots of nice things to report today.👍 Well done: first team, women's team, B team and all the PotY award winners 👏👏👏👏👏👏 Totally agree B team project has been very worthwhile, for all the varied reasons you mentioned, all 'Pros' for the boys. I don't really see anything to put in the 'Cons' pile. The Top 6 - I agree with you about the motivation of 4th-6th, well 4th & 5th. But I can also see the counter view of pride & professionalism, finishing higher = more £ & possible Euro spot. I do think M'well were well riled up for battle on Saturday though! (at least for a while) Not over til it is over! A win over them on Sunday and their nerve could really be put to the test!😊

Greg Henderson

Yeh, there are. 3rd place gets 3rd qualifying round of ECL and 4th place gets 2nd qualifying round of ECL. So there is a Euro slot for Dundee Utd/Ross County/Motherwell.

Scott Watson

but Hearts get the UEL place from being a cup finalist, so the ECL slots go to 4th and 5th, don't they? So three teams with two spots and only one point separating them at the moment, so you'd think there's definitely a bit to play for

michael Cochrane

controversial about the UB’s ! Seen a few posts in Social media pages already and some not for moving and asking why they should be deemed as more important than him or his daughter. Fair play to the UB’s but can see the boys point j

David

It’s great the players get that competitive edge at the B team level as it’s been missing for years. Looking outwith Rangers, and I know that’s why we’re here, but it’s a benefit for all of Scottish football if they don’t make it which is why I don’t the smaller clubs fans attitudes. It’s all about the big bad Rangers thing.

Fergie

Agree with moving the UB's behind the goal. As far as I'm aware the UB's only number a couple of hundred and they would actually want the area right at the front which doesn't have the best of views anyway. Anyone inconvenienced could probably end up in a better seat. The bigger issue is that everyone will most likely have to stand which would upset a good few more.

Rod

Euro qualification all the way down to 5th in the league means there is plenty for all of the top 6 to play for.

Jock Wallace

Copland is the only sensible place to put them, If you put them in BF3 you run the risk of having to shunt to accommodate fans in the cup or Europe if the away team takes their full allocation.

Ash

I saw a suggestion that the UB should be moved to the away corner and away fans given BF1. It would mean they have their own entrance. Not sure how realistic it is but it's a good shout
