I hope that Gio and our player attending the pre Leipzig press conference next Wednesday are reminded that the arrogant Leipzig manager thinks we are a long ball team. Let them come to Ibrox with that belief and arrogance that they are already in the final. Not interested in Sunday, bring on Thursday, that’s much more important for me.

David Innes

Never thought I’d see the day where I’m not that bothered about the result of an Old firm game where they could win the league but here we are

Doug Young

Can't argue with the love for Goldson and Bassey on Thursday but spare a thought for the "done" Borna. Thought he was absolutely spot on and well worthy of his recent run.

Doug Young

And re: B team. Would not bat an eyelid to see Lowry, King or McCann on Sunday.

Al H

Let's go again on Sunday and rip it up on Thursday. We are Rangers 🐻

Scott Watson

I did hear those comments about the long balls but I really don't think it was said disrespectfully, Tedesco has made a number of very positive comments about us before and after the game and also said he expected they would need to score at Ibrox - so clearly thinks we will be a threat. Also had some very respectful words to say about Ibrox and the atmosphere Having said that, if it can be used to fire up the players, let's get right in about it 😄

Scott Watson

Worth remembering that King is already "officially" part of the first team squad and training with them full time so the management clearly think he's very close

Graeme Burns

GVB will play the strongest team available to him for each fixture. This may mean some different players in each first XI.

Doug Young

Indeed. I think he and Lowry are ready from what I've seen, Lowry especially. Lowry has something not many other first-teamers have. Maybe Aribo when he's on it. Not seen enough of McCann myself.

Allan Longmuir

I have to disagree with the comments about none of the other teams in the top 6 have anything to play for. There are five European places and the top 3 are going to go to Rangers, Celtic and Hearts. The last two places are up for grabs so Dundee Utd, Ross County and Motherwell do have something to play for as there’s only a point between them. So they’ll be trying to gets points from every game. A win for us in this old firm game could still be meaningful for the league and put a bit of pressure on them (although I concede it’s very unlikely they will drop 7 in the last four games).

Gary Brown

Good pod, thanks guys.
