Could you guys do a 5 hour pod please. Just say exactly what is said in this pod but let me hear it even more times. Cheers.

Scott Watson

Holy shit, I got a surprise after 19 minutes, did James get a word before that? 😂

James Maclachlan

You couldn’t get this smile off my face with a blow torch, happy days from Thailand

Doug

The smile is still on my face, probably will be all weekend. One of the biggest differences for me has been that adaptability Gio has brought. His team appear a critical upgrade in in-game management, on top of the excellent base SG built. This season hasn’t even finished and I’m already excited for what’s to come. Remember, this is still SG’s team, what can Gio do given the opportunity to build on that himself? The possibilities, especially if we get into the CL, are thrilling.

William

2 people to thank today, for commencing the path to last night 1. Dave King Saved our club 2. Steven Gerard From being beaten 4 and 5 nil by that lot to giving us 55 and respect in Eruope

Scott Watson

Magnificent pod, thank you all Was very pleased that the bravery of going man for man was flagged up. One of Gio's consistent themes during this run has been talking about giving the players belief, and it's evident from the performances and results that this is not just empty rhetoric. He (and his team) have clearly given players like Bassey and Lundstram, and, in an important but less obvious way, Kamara, belief that they can do different jobs and that they are good enough to be brave and have the confidence to take on europe's best and be a match for them Remember that this Leipzig team have beaten Man City, drawn with PSG, scored 2 goals away to PSG and Bayern, and 3 away to City this season. They are a serious outfit and I think we've almost lost sight of just how good they are by how well we controlled both legs of the tie (and all of this with half a team missing)

John Mcmillan

Guys…. Due to an irrational football induced superstition I have only watched one Euro tie this season, the home leg against Braga as I had a ticket….. therefore in order to create history and make millions of bears worldwide happy…. I shall throw myself on the alter of superstition and NOT watch the final for fear of causing a jinx….( ask the wife about my match day/ watching rituals)…. Ps I know you all have them…. WATP

Greg

I just can't get enough rangers content today, lost count of the amount of times I've watched the goals and fan videos. I also cannot stop singing that song every 10 seconds.

William Black

This feels so different from 2008, Florence with Novos penalty was amazing, McGregors save in Bremen was world class, and (I’ve slapped myself for saying this cause he’s an arse) Whittakers goal in Lisbon… It was a great run and that’s what it felt like, a great backs to the wall run… This is a million miles away from that, I had little doubt we could see off Dortmund and we actually beat them twice (albeit pathetic VAR and ref decision. Braga I believed we could over turn, RBL I felt we had to be really ruthless and not wasteful and we could do it… I actually, genuinely believe, despite the score line, that Red Star are the best we’ve faced in a footballing sense, anyone agree? We are in this final, and that alone is a truly remarkable feat, we absolutely can win this. Gio and his team deserve to be in the final, they’ve put so many big teams away, 4 wins in knockout football and 1 draw (should have been another win) from 8 games. 1 to go and it’ll be the biggest moment in our history, arguably Scottish football history given how much the game has changed. Enough waffle - Alexa - play John Lundstram Is The Best On Earth 🇬🇧💙

Doug Young

Went to the supermarket this morning and ended up spending too much money on things I didn't need because that song was all that was occupying my brain the whole morning.

Doug Young

Agree about Red Star. Dortmund and RB had excellent individuals but Red Star were the most solid unit we've played in my opinion.

William Black

The lad Katai (hope I’ve got his name correct) was brilliant, his movement and finishing, the best single opponent by far. Couldn’t get past McGregor though 😉

Mark

Gio's has to be the biggest turnaround story in a very long time. He looked almost dead in the water less than six weeks ago after the giberts did us at Ibrox to realistically end our league hopes - and then we lost away to Braga, delivering another insipid performance. Now he stands only one game away from immortality.

Scott Watson

This is incredibly staunch dedication, I will buy you a beverage of your choice if it works

Callum Dinnen

I was thinking about this, my top 5 moments from the 2008 run are, in no particular order: Cousin's goal against Bremen at Ibrox McGregor's save in Bremen Whittaker's goal in Lisbon Novo's penalty in Florence Seeing the team walk out the tunnel in Manchester and line up at the start of the game. One or two of those are personal, but I'd wager my middle 3 there would feature on everyone's list, because being honest there weren't many more big moments from that run. Other than Lundstram's goal last night I doubt there's a moment from this run that would feature unanimously across everyone's list, there's been that many.

David Hart

I cannot get Belinda Carlisle out my head and I’m loving it!

Doug Young

How come no-one is mentioning the Ryan Jack tackle in the box first half? Cheered that as much as a goal. Stunning.

Ross Russell

It should not effect me like this, I'm a 56 year old bloke in Aus, and I'm wandering around doing the family shop singing blue sea of ibrox, oh baby, and randomly bursting into tears. What u doing to me Rangers? WATP.

Scott Watson

It was tremendous Also have a look at friend of the pod Joshua Barrie's twitter analysis of Goldson's role in defending that attack

Graeme Slider

I sit in the EE, after full time I looked around and saw Adam welling up, Martin taking it all in and David belting out every Saturday we follow. We deserve this. Great pod as always.

CRAIG CASSELLS

We have to get Heaven on Earth to number 1, it just won't leave my head. Another great listen although can I say the audio was dreadful, both David snd Martyn booming but Adam and James as quiet as mice.

Fraser Martin

Our resolve is going to be tested with young Calvin come summer.

Gary Brown

Great pod guys, thanks 👍

Derek Bradley

Excellent pod. My patreon app wasn't loading the H&H content for a few days, Last I had was Tuesday, before this pod, Have these issues been resolved ?

Andrew Hillis

Exquisite Torture Martyn! Superb big man! Just an incredible achievement! WATP!

Doug Maclean

Thursday was the most memorable game of my life - and I’ll be 70 this year. That pod is something I’ll go back to again and again to remind myself of those beautiful emotions. It was worth a year’s subscription on its own

Blair

Some of these mics are so low especially Adam’s 👍

Stuart McWilliams

Goldson deserves a lot of credit for Bassey's improvement as well. In Prague he looked lost with Balogun beside him and I think having Goldson talk him through games has helped (in the same way Weir made everyone beside him better in 2008).
