Steven, I always seek out pods with your analysis in them. More often than not they turn out to be accurate. This was a great interview with an interesting gentleman (even if I care not a jot about North American sports). If BBC Scotland had nabbed this interview, Richard Gordon would have been licking his lips and tweaking his own nipples (there's an image you'll not unsee). So much for Fan Media eh? 😉

Fantastic Steven, loved this interview. A lot of what Michael said can be used in day to day business and personal relationships.

Fantastic Steven. I don't know how you get these amazing interviews but however you do it keep it up. This is another reason why people that don't follow rangers can listen to heart and hand. More than just fans talking about their team.

Excellent interview/discussion. You have a knack of drawing out gems of info from your interviewees Steven. Have you tried reaching out to any of the All Blacks management, now or recent past? The book "Legacy" is a classic for all sports teams. Maybe someone at Kiwi True Blues might be able to help? Keep up the great work and look forward to hearing your reviews news season!

Amazing listen, thanks for getting this to us Steven. What an fantastically interesting, knowledgeable & innovative guy Michael Lepp is, I could listen to him and similar contemporaries, Mick Beale, David Brailsford, etc all day. These guys dont just promote tactics & ethics for success in sport but it is all about being a better person, being better to other people and that is bringing success even if not a win/trophy but success as a team. We could all learn something from this to help us support our team better!

Steven Harrigan

I am very aware of the book and will look into any possible interviews. Thank you for the feedback and suggestion.

Thank you Steven, I enjoy all your interviews but this is one of the absolute best Genuinely fascinating discussion of some of the most fundamental aspects of sport and life in general. I'm involved in a lot of data analysis in my work and research life and am a big believer in its value but there are some great points in this discussion about how in some ways the current mania for data is the oldest of human impulses - the quest for a quick fix, a free lunch, the magic trick that lets you shortcut the hard work
