David Marshall, Rob and Stoo are on their own this week as the boss goes off his galavanting in the states. The boys are left to maul over January 2013 where the Third Division Title is all but sealed at this point but the malaise has certainly settled in.

Thanks for getting through another one of these shows guys. It is interesting to remember & discuss this period. I don't recall ever seeing, or even hearing about that 'new pioneers' picture. It is a nice art though. Aye it really was about 'getting through this' - and thats why these shows you guys are doing are so necessary. We got through it but we always need to remember how we did it and WHY we had to do it. All the players of this period deserve respect, especially those like Jig & Wallce who had stayed. They were Rangers. We like to say Once a Ranger always a Ranger. That applies to all of those players too. The attitude of the players at that time was the responsibility of the manager. Ally was at fault for the crap training regime, ridiculous overpaid signings and poor performances. League effectively won or not the ethos of Rangers is about standards, HIGH standards. Ally had to give every opponent respect - #1 Its The Rangers Way and #2 results throughout this season showed these teams deserved it. Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard!! Yes it was turgid, yes the attitude was often bad, yes the football was regularly crap but it is what Rangers were and where they were at the time. And why in the giddy heights of Europa League glory nights we need reminding of stuff like this - that Billy bigbaws attitudes are unacceptable. More 'fun' next episode! All power ✊to you guys for doing this series, it takes resolve, steel & determination that Jock Wallace would've been proud of.
