Lovely news on Goldson. He’s solid

Kris

Very very pleased at Big Goldson signing back on

Karl Waring

Definitely a good thing that goldson is staying, saves us forking out for a new main CB

Alan Ferguson

Great news about Goldson!!! Had seen a story about him selling his house followed by a rumour after todays contract news that he’s moving from Glasgow West End to Bothwell…..would make sense, can tell his missus she’s 15 minutes closer to the Midlands in England….join M74 at Bothwell and it’s a straight road to M6 and eventually Birmingham luv….you can’t get lost!!! 😂

Craig McCrimmon

I agree with Hoggy in comparison between Goldson and Weir........ he's super fit and due to not having blistering pace he could easily play well into his 30's

Bill Ramsay

One thing people don't seem to bring up about Goldson is some of his passing from defence. There are plenty of examples of excellent passes from him to Tav or Kent.

John Smith

I can’t tell you how excited I am about John Souttar. This guy can be our best player and I don’t say that lightly.

FlyBe are starting daily flights between Brum and Glasgow again from July, she'll be fine.

Great news about Goldson. Completely unexpected, of course. I don’t know anyone who thought he’d be here next season, because he always looked like he was running down the clock to move on a free. Begs the question what he offered him to stay, of course, but that may never be known. We’ll played Ross Wilson, because I’ve been his biggest critic of late. He hasn’t had a great record with transfers, but he’s nailed it with this negotiation. Now we need him to keep this momentum going and extend other contracts as well. It is a strange one, because it was widely reported that we had offers for him last year. Maybe the market had moved on a lot in a year, and the same clubs are probably drooling over Calvin Bassey now. I do think we will struggle to hang onto him as well, but I hope Wilson proves me wrong time and time again this summer, because this news was a real; boost to what we need right now, which is stability. I fear we may have a harder time convincing Aribo, Kent and a couple of others to sign extensions, though.

Craig Robertson

Let's be realistic. He hasn't turned down double the wages.

Surely some of those clever guys that come up with the songs can make a song up for big Goldson to the tune of todays music choice ??? 🎶 you’re so Goldson 🎶

Thanks for the update Colin & Hoggy. A very pleasant surprise big Goldson has signed a new contract. Good leader & marshals the back line well. 95% of the time he's rock solid, but he's always got a mistake in him (who doesn't!) Unfortunately when he does make an error it always seems to be a big one leading to a goal, kinda like a goalie. Very happy he's staying. Same goes for Davis, really very pleased he's staying. Offers so much on & off the park. Welcome to John Souttar. I reckon him & Goldson will be a good pairing. Aw, bye Ced the Ted. A good guy. Classy leaving message. He scored a few really good goals for us and a couple of very important ones too.

Great idea Douglas Gold-son du-du-du-du de du-du-du-du Conn-or Goldson du-du-du-du de du-du-du-du & Repeat We need chants for players everyone can pick up quickly, and get started easily during games. Our songbook has a lot of ballad type songs, too long for during the match really because things occur on the pitch, the crowd react & stop singing. The song doesn't get picked up again from where it stopped. Chants are far more easily restarted, and started!

Alexander Laird

So next season we'll have a few leaders already - Tavernier, Goldson, Davis, Jack, Arfield for starters. That cannot be underestimated. We won't trip up again. Next season is ours💙.

Excited with the Indian deal. I spend a lot of time in Tiruvannamalai tamil Nadu (near Chennai Hoggy) even run a wee supporters club there.
