Hoggy is joined by Cammy to chew the fat over a variety of topics:

- the passing of Davie Wilson and Mr Wilson's legacy

- a tale of two Fergusons

- one chance to replay one game

- Alex Lowry

- the area in and around Ibrox Stadium

- and importantly, the need for self reflection and much more!

Another enjoyable show. I'd love to take part in a Q&A at some point

Martin Davies

Great show as usual. Re Barry vs Ian Barry was a fantastic footballer who could have played for almost any side in Europe in his pomp. He had a huge influence on the teams he played in, a level of influence that Ian never had. Ian was one of my favourite players, I loved his attitude, will to win and he was underrated as a footballer. But wee Barry was without question the better player. I agree on naming stands, I don't like it. The club could have named the Blue Sky Lounge or new Edmiston House after Walter, but they've backed themselves into a corner with the Sandy Jardine stand in that a lounge or museum might look like lesser recognition. I do like the idea of statues along a renamed Edmiston Drive, or a legends wall opposite the Main Stand.

Can you post the link to davie Wilson interview please

Gary Brown

Honouring legends - club can explore ideas within the stadium footprint and make the access at the rear of the stands 'named' walkways. eg New Edmiston House is situated on Ally McCoist Avenue, rather than 'behind the Copland Road stand' Ibrox Suite / Argyle House / Club 72 / ticket office is on Walter Smith Way rather than 'behind the Sandy Jardine stand' (also be an apt location for a statue of Walter! Perhaps at shop / Ibrox suite area) Just need to take a look at Liverpool, particularly 97 Avenue, and Man City's stadium footprints (& even 'that lot') to see how we can utilise & improve those areas. Umbro just modernised their 87/90 home kit for the 'KT' home 09/10, after doing the 88 'Monaco' away in 06/07. Castore are simply doing the same, and trying to capitalise on the trend for 'retro' kits, which is a massive market. Puma even had a shadow check in 2016. Its understandable because the checked 'McEwans' home is such a beloved iconic kit with so many amazing memories associated with it. RIP Mr Davie Wilson. Legends Live Forever. Thanks Cammy & Hoggy for giving us another hamper full of goodies 👍👏

That’s a great solution. My ticket is for the Govan Rear not Sandy Jardine (and he was a real hero) but I’d love to get there along Walter Smith Way or up the Jim Baxter Walk from the subway.

Gary Brown

Jim Baxter Brae? Up that wee slope from the corner where the Rangers Shop used to be 😉 We've got minimum scope. 3 maybe 4 with the 'brae". Walter gets one. Ally? who beats him? Played & managed, his involvement in 2012> helped stop titles being stripped etc. Mr Waddle? The father of the new Ibrox ensuring our safety a generation before the rest of the world did. 97 Avenue is an amazing example of what can be done. Funded, in part, by fans buying commemorative stones. The Rangers ones are nice design but sadly aren't well placed or even really noticeable. It has a good few hero player (Gerrard, Barnes, etc) benches too with their achievements carved. Yeah I'm Govan Front. Maybe in time supporters will know & refer to it as the Jardine stand, if they've grown up with it as such.

Trev @JimmyBell_Loyal

Fair enough about my question on big Jon. I just don’t think he will be a good a shot stopper as Shagger! We’ll see but I don’t want to see Shagger be number 2. He doesn’t deserve that.

Trev @JimmyBell_Loyal

Is it not feasible at all to build a third tier to the remaining 3 tiers without one??

Steven L

Good answer to my “question” guys. I’ll leave my personal opinion at the door…….

Graeme Heaney

I’ve no listened show but Hoggy your the man I will. Bbc reporting 1.5million bid Lewis Ferguson from Millwall. I think he probably worth that for our midfield??????

Hoggy

I’m no structural engineer mate. I would be very (very) surprised if the current foundations and structure could support another.

Hoggy

Funnily enough we toyed with the idea of ignoring the question because my own personal opinion may have shone through 😂

Hoggy

I’d go £1m tops. I think he’s certainly nothing special but could be wrong.

Steven L

Totally get that. If the shoe was on my foot I’d be raging with double standards from certain places, You both handled it very well.

Pedro M SVO

great show again guys getting us through this summer with no football on

Craig Fryatt

Would love to be on this show
