Who is the Sow-tar? 🤣🤣👏👏👏

Gazza G

Sorry but just 6m upfront for a star of the AFCON is shocking. Don’t know if it’s a lack of contacts, media exposure or poor negotiation skills but we ain’t getting value for players.

Craig

Need urgent clarification on this, won't be happy if this turns out to be the right pronunciation.

Really bad news on Roofe injury. Classy player and a very good finisher. Sadly we can’t afford a striker who is only available 30% of a season As for Sow Tar I’m sure even he has never heard himself called that 😄

Brian Rae

I thought there were a few clubs after Aribo? Surely we could have gotten a better offer? I just think the add on and sell on route is a gamble we obviously can't afford right now (Obvious sell before we can buy) and a 10m release clause should be exactly that. Hopefully, he goes again for big money but right now, 6m is verging on being ripped off. After the season we had in Europe, I find it concerning that we are being low balled as well as an apparent lack of interest in our other players.

Richard

It’s quite worrying the amount of players we have that seem to be injury prone.

Graham Jones

I don’t mind the fee being lower, if it means we got more than £10m in the end. He will do well at EPL level. In fact, once he realises how good he is, he may be the next one to go from Southampton to a top four side. If that’s the case, then good.
