Andy and Ross are back once again with the show that provides podders and patrons alike the opportunity to get the games that haunt them off their chest on the Heart and Hand therapy couch.

This week the boys are joined by Lee Colvin to discuss the 1994 Scottish Cup Final defeat to Dundee Utd, a defeat which ended Rangers trophy-winning run and the hopes of back to back trebles.

As always, if you would like to come on the show don’t hesitate to get in touch.

The first time I felt proper pain as a result of a football result, and the start of my hatred towards Dundee utd. I remember having the entire Dundee utd squad's panini stickers on a dart board as a 10 year old not long after that game.

Stuart Sinclair

What a great guest, h&h should get him involved more with the pods

Johnnie Mitchell

Ugly and Stale very appropriate now thinking back. I’ll always remember an older guy on the bus coming back from Hampden describing the performance as “ We got ourselves in a rut, and couldn’t get out” the way we finished the league campaign.

John Johnston

Great pod as ever, this one was more painful than 1989 as it was a great chance to create history. 93/94 and 94/95 were both hard seasons to endure probably with going out of Europe early.

This was my first Scottish cup final that I was at, couldn’t get a ticket for the previous Airdrie one and this definitely is one that haunts me. I can shut my eyes and see the clusterfuck of that Utd goal still to this day like it’s happening in front of me.

Great pod (despite the subject!), thanks Andy, Ross & well done special guest Lee. Nice to hear good, well-balanced, honest opinions. So often that entire era is considered consistently glorious and terms like ugly, stale & tired really do sum up too many games from that season in particular. New top out for the Cup Final, that always gave me the fear in the 90s 🤣

I wasn't at this game (and weirdly have no memory of it as I was all over any live Cup finals you got on TV around this time) but I always remember my dad saying that in a weird way he was glad we didn't win, because in his mind trebles were reserved for great sides and the 93/94 vintage wasn't up to the mark.
