I'd go Mclaughlin in the league for his box coverage and Greegsy for all cup and Europe games.

I'm guessing the Matondo signing is like when we signed Ryan kent on loan then had to pay £6-7 million the following summer when we wanted him permanently

Graham Jones

They will never, ever get over Mo Johnston, hence them trying to steal Matondo at the last minute. 😂

Thanks for the update David & Cammy. Our club is changing, has changed, it has had to and we supporters have to change also. We aren't signing Butcher, Gascoigne, Steven or Duncan Ferguson - established talents at the top of their profession. Immediate expectation of top level performance could be expected of those guys. We are signing players on the upward curve and we NEED to give them time to bed in & establish themselves to get the best out of them in future, the quicker the better. eg Lundstrum. Pilloried & target of the boo boys for really not very much wrong for half the season, principally down to (reported) wage level and an eligible target for not being part of 55 squad, all (mainly) spared for the achievement for a long period. He prevailed in spite of the 'support' not because of the criticism. Not all others have his strength of character. We need to support the new guys, prove to them they are playing for the best club with the best support and help them develop. We need to be more understanding & reasonable as they do so - for us Rangers is Rangers, with all that goes with it and has gone before. For them, it isn't - yet! It is a new job. Let's give them all every encouragement to do it as well as they can.
