Was hoping Bassey would stay now as we haven’t spent big so far, more been balanced money in and out, so should be financially stable. Will leave a big gap at back left.

Graham Roy

If we could punt helander I would do it! Makes decision to free balogun even stranger!

Craig

Balogun is what I'd class as injury prone, in the sense that he can't play 4 games in 2 weeks without something giving out. Helander seems to have been unlucky picking up a few quite bad injuries from stuff like tackles and catching himself on the turf. He seemed to just slot back in no bother at the start of 20/21, but during his comeback at the end of last season he looked miles off it.

With regards to the open training, surely it would be good to offer extra tickets, even at a small cost to mygers members. This would be a perfect chance to get my young kids to ibrox and get them into the stadium without having to get them mygers as they aren’t at the stage of going to games yet

Colin Greig

Talking about training sessions back in the day, I remember going to Jordanhill College a couple of times in 91 maybe. Was so exciting watching them train at that age. Loads of autographs, conversations with Souness, Walter, Ally. Amazing

Brian Rae

Unfortunately, now is probably the best time to sell Bassey. It will need to be over 25m and a sell on though as he will almost certainly move again for megabucks. I think he's better than Brighton tbh but I thought the same way with Aribo. EPL is the be all and end all sadly. I'll be astonished if no Bundesliga sides come in for him. We need a new starter CB whatever happens.

"Modern life is rubbish".....an underrated album.

David_Davy_Dave

Just off to stick on Modern Life is Rubbish. Peak Blur for me Good run down on CB. If there’s no sale clause and 2 years to run there is a lot of pressure on the club here. Rightly or wrongly there’s a strong perception of Aribo being undersold. I’d say that’s only evident in time if upside does or doesn’t eventuate but that perception is many peoples reality right now

Ross Murphy

Was also there at Bellahouston Park as a boy, awe-struck watching England internationals running up and down the hill! Still have the autographs somewhere..
