Graham Jones

I was happy with what I saw, and where we are, which is at the beginning of another rebuilding phase. We’ve signed a lot of players this summer, and that means it will take time for things to work as we want them to. They were a good side, but so are we. We made tow mistakes today and were rightly punished. GvB can go into the dressing room and tell them not to make loose passes and they will compete at that level this season. you don’’t need to have a team of huge players, but just enough of them. What I would say is, I remember watching us get hammered pre-season by a Marseille side who were superior to us man for man, and then drawing twice with them in the Champions League, in case anyone is looking for omens.

Gary Brown

Me too, happy with what I saw and how we performed, how the new signings look & are settling in Thanks for this pod guys and your opinions, I couldn't agree more. We gave a very creditable account of ourselves against a very high quality opponent and two moments of brilliance from a world elite striker made the difference.
