Rangers were finally able to register their 8 new signings at the beginning of September 2013 and the improvement was as drastic as it was welcome. Rangers went goal crazy with Jig and Jon Daly scoring for fun.

Join David, Stuart and Rob as they continue to chart Ally McCoist's managerial spell.

Finding it difficult not to laugh at an unfortunate wee faux pas in this. It's a bit grim for me to repeat

Peralta actually played well in the Scottish semi v Dundee United at Ibrox, but agree with all the views about him.

At the Stenhousemuir game the guy sitting next to me had bets of Rangers to win 5-0, 6-0 and 7-0, delighted his £10 7-0 bet was winning him a nice bit of money then Moshni scores an overhead kick in the 94th minute to get the 8th goal he was absolutely raging at him

Ah my mistake, I got confused with ‘division above us’ being when he signed (ie L2/L1) not when he played (L1/CHship). Perils of broadcasting!

GM

I only have two memories of Peralta- the game against Dundee Utd when he was by far our standout player on the day. The other was a home game against Hibs- we had a corner, Hibs launched it away. Only man back was Peralta and you can see straight away he’s going to make a meal of the ball as it drops. Hibs scored.

WOW!!!! A thoroughly enjoyable episode of the Ally show - a staggering achievement!! Gentlemen - I salute you!! Another great episode guys, thanks. At least this one has less traumatic content for you all to research, discuss & broadcast. And TBH its much easier to listen to 😄😉 You have skillfully managed to keep to the tone of the series though with a swift reminder of our reality; the League Cup exit (expertly done in a single brief sentence), a sneek preview of that Easter Road thingy (I still cant say Rrr Rrrs even now!) and poor Stuart admitting it was so bad he chucked it. This was the team that was assembled to get us all the way back to the top flight, in style, and for these few weeks (at least) they certainly looked like it. This is the type of football & performance that we all had expected to see week in, week out, from the minute we were placed in the bottom tier, right up until we got back to top. The fact that didn't happen is probably more complicated and unfathomable than what got us down the leagues in the first place and why this series is SO important for us to discuss, reflect, enjoy and endure the events of that period. Thanks again guys for all your hard work bring this series to us.
