Re the season tickets for womens team and b team. They really need to sort the scheduling out. Would loved to have gone to see the b team tonight and check out Lovelace and the rest of the lads, but they’re on the same time as our CL qualifier. Not good.

Broadwood has a shocker of a plastic pitch. Hope there’s no injuries picked up as playing on that full time can’t be good. Surprised the club have gone down that route when the feeling is they shouldn’t be at the top level in the mens game, so why’s it acceptable for the womens.

Trev @JimmyBell_Loyal

5 less MyGers points for the woman’s season ticket compared to the B team. Shows what’s more important to Rangers 🤔 The whole MyGers points thing is a joke anyways. They increase the threshold for tiers every season and even with me buying a lot I’m not getting any closer to silver. It’s a closed shop for the gold members.

Doug

The arguments about fans who live further away are fair enough. I don't live in Glasgow so I don't get to games often either and so also suffer that pain. The argument that it's disenfranchising fans not wanting to purchase additional season tickets feel very much biased from the POV of the mens team though. If MyGers points can't be earned by people who want to follow the Women's team, perhaps even primarily, or because mens season tickets are just too expensive, shouldn't they get the chance to earn points from their purchases also? They are already at a huge disadvantage because they are getting much less points to begin with. I understand the concern at people buying season tickets and then not using them. If that's a big enough concern perhaps the club should look at some kind of system to track if the tickets aren't used and if so dock the MyGers points? While I'm sure there'll be some, do we really think there's going to be that many people who'll buy all three sets just for the points? At the end of the day, if MyGers points aren't available for purchases of the Women's Team's Season Tickets, doesn't that ultimately send the message "this isn't as worthy, this isn't as important to the club, we don't value this product"?

Stephen

In terms of games shown on RTV, is there any word on whether the home league games will be available to buy like they have been the past couple of seasons?

Doug

I think what he’s means is that it’s Very Perplexing, No? 😄

Rod

What about actual fans of the women's team who are mygers members. Should they be excluded from getting mygers points when they are following the women's team? Why should they not be rewarded for their loyalty the same way everyone else is?

Getting MyGers points for the B team and women's team season tickets is the correct decision and deserved if you are a fan of those teams and attending the matches. The problem is we are all desperate for more MyGers points and this leads to an abusing of the system if people are planning on purchasing and not attending.

That was some fucking shot to hit Almswall Road about 400 yards from Abbey Park!!!🤣🤣🤣 You'd be better standing in Church Street ,behind the goal or Ladyford Avenue. 👍

Heart and Hand

Ladyford Avenue, that’s the one I meant! My Doctor is in Almswall Road, think that’s why it popped into mind.

Rod

I understand that people view things through the prism of the men's team but this is about people who put their time and money into the women's team and people need to take a wee step back and try and understand not everything is about them.

Thanks again for the update David. Always nice to hear from Tess. My Gers is what it is but in the end when they should have counted somehow there were plenty of 'big game hunters' who managed to get tickets for Seville 🤔 Agree 100% with Tess and his assessment of the self entitled give me your shirt' brats - well said fella 👏👏👍 Mrs Edgar must've gone to the same Mum School as my mum did !! Had many a 'tanned hide' 😆

Tess

Another variable, when are MyGers points ever likely to be required for obtaining Women's or B Team tickets?

Andy Sladen

Totally agree with you and Tess on the MyGers points. Travelling from Scarborough I feel penalised with this and did think about buying one anyway but didn’t for the very reasons you stated David. It isn’t right to buy just for the points. Frustrating though not to have the choice with this especially at a time it is becoming more and more expensive to travel up the road plus it is getting harder for supporters clubs to keep going with the increase prices from coach firms.

Stephen

Rookie mistake David. Wife gets interested in football, how long until it's 2 season tickets? ;)

Ross Matheson

Doug, that's the point I was coming on to make. If there's a concern, make it that you have to attend 3/4 of the games to qualify for the points. That's win win. You get people going to the games and the money coning into the club. German clubs do it with their STs. There's no reason we couldn't apply the same rules to qualify for points.

Andrew Burnside

Don’t need to worry about who was in the draw for the next round as we won’t be there based on this embarrassing performance

Doug Young

Absolutely dreadful. Not seen the like.

Stegz

A worked example of how VAR is not a cure in and of itself - you still need competent referees to analyse the footage.

Tess

3rd goal at home to Dortmund aside, it's the first time VAR has gone against us

My best mate is a booker in and around the Midlands, and whenever he gets someone who I like I get to go backstage and enjoy their company, so to speak. Shaun Ryder was the best, Wendi James was second best. She's absolutely mad as a box of frogs, and still an absolute babe. Proper star quality.
