Rangers B defeated Dumbarton 7-0 in the SPFL Trust Trophy this evening in a wonderful preformance that has been overshadowed by horrendous tackle on Alex Lowry that seen him stretchered off.

Ross and James bring full coverage of the match and the very candid thoughts of David McCallum and Zak Lovelace.

This scumbag should be called out and court action for gbh. And as for the officiating, this corrupt organisation needs exposed and Rangers FC , stop being a door mat for this organisation , we as a support are sick of silence

Alistair Burch

Shocking that the play continued after that challenge

Tamus

Ally Love you absolute f**king dog _speedy recovery Alex Lowry

Andy Barnett

Excellent coverage again chaps on what should’ve been an enjoyable evening. You clearly captured the mood changes before during and after the match and it won’t have been easy given you witnessed a young player hurt and the obvious pain he was in. Love the all round candidness - Good job considering the circumstances.

Gary Havlin

First class coverage men, enjoyed that. Sounds like Lowry could have a bad one, fingers crossed it’s not. Did I really hear someone ask young Lovelace if his ambition was to play in the 1st team? 😂

Tony Houston

Brilliant to here how the B team got on last night guys. terrible what happened to young lowry there surely needs to be something done about this the boy should get a red for dangerous tackle.

Linda Mackay

Think every Rangers fan shares your anger guys. Saw the tackle on social media, utterly horrific, hope and pray young Lowry is going to be ok.

Gordon Millar

Dreadful tackle, highlights the need for a review of refereeing like happened in England 10 or so ago....their league benefited by attracting technical players who would have been put off coming to the UK before......we have an annual moan about the jobber teams not able to compete in Europe and we allow this type of industrial challenge....its yet another national disgrace......never mind feeding a media frenzy on Alfie, call for full time refs, protection of players and divert European money if necessary to fund it otherwise our game is doomed. Best wishes Alex, I hope this makes you more determined to reach your potential and put these no marks behind you.

William

I was at the game, great performance, some really good individual displays. Lowrie was outstanding, and taken out by a frustrated hammer throwing nonentity. Hope this is not serious. Lovelace looks special

Douglas Hannah

I hope young Lowry isn’t seriously injured, thugs like Love need removed from the game.

lee mccallum

I thought ritchie-hosler was very good tonight

Agreed. He was sensational in the first half. Thought McCann bossed the game too.
