December 2013 and Rangers were cruising in League One. A few big victories were interspersed with a miserable Boxing Day as the players looked as stuffed on turkey as the fans.

Join the Davids, Stuart and Rob as they continue their month-by-month look at Ally's spell as Gers boss.

With regards to the big gap between the 7th & 26th, we had an away game at Stenhousemuir on the 14th December but this was cancelled a couple of hours before kick-off because the roof of the temporary stand they had put up collapsed in on itself due to heavy rain I think - it was supposed to be on BT Sport as well! 😅 Not sure why we didn’t have a game the following week though… 🤔

This is maybe a question for the week before Warburton arrives but from July 2012 to May 2015, what was the - not to go all Charlie Nicholas - least worst point of that period? I genuinely think it might be the few months around the period of this show. The season in the 3rd division stopped being "fun" after about 4 weeks. It was rotten and the squad was a shambles given how quickly it was brought together in summer 2012. At least here, there was some sort of plan even if it was terribly bog standard "no flair" stuff. I never hated Faure, Law and Daly the way I had genuine dislike for Sandaza, Foster and a number of others who came before and after this point Listening to the start of the show, I was thinking this was possibly about as good as it got...but then Stranraer

Football wise, you are probably right Ross. However, as we discussed last episode - this was one of the worst off the field periods.

Yeah, last week's show was a pearler with names I've not considered in long enough like Laxy Partners et al and don't care to hear ever again. The entire 3 or 4 years was just a clusterfuck really and there's no sugar coating that. Just thought, at this point (cup exits aside) it was the best of a very bad bunch...but I guess we've got Raith in the Challenge Cup final took look forward to so even then, it wasn't even passable.

Living in Fife I can have a Stephen’s steak bridie every day of the week, and not just when we play away to Dunfermline😜

A wee Springfield files wouldn’t go a miss to cheer everycunt up the now 😂

Thanks for the latest Ally episode guys. Good work Stuart, Rob and both Davids. Despite the actual football being mainly ok this was definitely a bleak mid winter!
