Fair play those fans wanting to go to Naples. Went once on holiday - wife pickpocketed and we were followed by bikes. Had to take refuge in a restaurant. Not a nice place even without the local ultras trying to chib you. Safe trip to those that go.

Thanks for the update David, despite your gas being at a peep with the covid. However it was lovely to hear you perk up a bit with the pleasure in your voice at the return of The Rangers Rubber Duck 🤗👍 (told you it would get your pan-glossy back a bit 😉). Good luck to the Broomie Collective and their quest. Everything David said makes perfect common sense - but thats precisely why it's got a snowball's chance in hell. UEFA don't know what common sense is!! TV deal - our club make their feelings about it known and highlight / offer some alternative avenues to explore. We all (almost?!) agree with that - but I'm flabbergasted the first reaction of many seems to be anger at the board and belief this is purely them deflecting from the other matters 😳😳. Yes, we can question our own board about the running of our own club. But we simply must back them 100% in a fight against other parties when they are trying to get a better deal & more income for the club. I could go into the many reasons why 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚽️ is a poor product. But let's face it - it is. Of little or no appeal to anyone outside 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, other than actual fans who live abroad. We have a very limited TV audience worldwide. However the attitude of the 'others' & SPFL is, as David says "so Scottish football" I'm certainly no independence advocate but a line from Braveheart sums up the SPFL & 'sign now' clubs perfectly: You’re so concerned with squabbling for the scraps from Longshank’s (Sky's) table, that you’ve missed your God-given right to something better. There’s a difference between us. You think the people (⚽️fans) of this country exist to provide you with position. I think your position exists to provide those people with freedom (to get the best TV deal & coverage possible).

Problem now with the TV deal is that any other potential bidders know what the sky deal is valued at. Puts the league in a poor negotiating position if they do decide to market test it! Amateur negotiating at best or something more corrupt at worst!

Agree 100% 'SlySpurts' means tested this to reach their offer ie Their costs minus their return from subscriptions (more importantly projected subs!!) They have an expected profit margin they must make! Projected subs is key to the timing of this offer - this 'extension' deal clearly shown as lower than the current one. However subs are declining with more viewers going on 'short trips abroad' on matchdays (BTW, have your heard of H&H and RFC's internet protection partner?)! Simple maths! Costs + max profit margin - expected subs (at worst case scenario over term) = offer! Made now as 'trips abroad' only likely to increase! => worst case scenario is actually worse => less subs / profit margin for SlySpurts! They (Sly) know County, Livi, etc will vote for guaranteed 'big' income, in hand, for 'x' yrs - based simply on being the team for an away OF game! SlySpurts also know our league had periods of little or no coverage! No one else bid last renewal, etc. So the 'wee' teams, (ie 7 or 8, ergo the majority) will vote for / accept whatever offer is made! We (the 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚽️ clubs) need a broadcaster with the desire to take a chance/gamble to promote our game (not very premotable, for many reasons!). AND to pay over the amount aready 'accepted' by the majority of clubs to do so! I'll back our club 100% on their stance on this - we (+ all other SPFL clubs) should put it out to tender. But I know, 100%, in my head & heart, our club (& any who join us) have zero chance of success.
