4-0, Kent scores, Colak is delightful, juronovic is an undercover agent. Right now, at 3.51pm, life is sweet 😀

Bob MacCallum

Don't care if this annoys you guys and other Bears, but playing Arfield is a disgace. I've detested him for 2 years now as he brings nothing to the team. He fills a space, LITERALLY, but that's it. 9 out of 10 chances offered to him end up passbacks to the keeper or off target. He can't tackle, can't do other than a 5 yard sideways pass, can't shoot BUT he runs around a lot! He's keeping younger, better players out of the starting eleven. Tillman, McCann, Lowrie( eventually) even Kamara, Wright, Sakala would be ahead of him. Hurry back, Lawrence, so this guy can disappear, if Gio can't see this guy contributes nothing.

Gazza G

The 2nd Colak finish, the tiny elevation is crucial. If it’s on the deck it’s saved. A real finisher.

James McConnachie

Can we get Ferguson from Bologna on loan? Would beef up our midfield. Round peg round hole.

Gregg

When your team wins 4-0 but you still want to be raging about something. Have yourself a wee day off pal 💙

Charlie Nicolson

One of the podders has the same washing machine as me. You can hear it finishing the cycle

John Smith

Unlike a Porteous or a Broon, I genuinely don’t believe Cammy Devlin has that kind of thug mentality. I think he’s one of these wee guys that feels he’s got to prove something all the time and just makes idiotic decisions. I also think when you see Gio having a talk with him you can see the regret in his face. Also just shows how nice a guy our manager is.

Bob MacCallum

Apologies, Gregg. Arfield and Jack were brilliant today. If Gio starts them at Anfield, we'll get thrashed, AGAIN, and Gio deserves to get sacked. I've been going to Ibrox for nearly 62 years, seeing the team of Greig, Baxter, Henderson etc, so to see the likes of Arfield playing breaks my heart. The fact that we actually have better players available makes it even worse. You don't get days off supporting Gers for as long as I have. However, everyone's entitled to their opinion.

Gary Shaw

Colak is just going to baffle me as long as he’s a Rangers player….great scoring record but all round play borders on terrible…still thought we were really careless and sloppy with our passing for large chunks of the game but the pleasing aspect of it was I didn’t think we looked like conceding…..

Gregg

There’s every chance we will get thrashed regardless sadly but we live in hope. We have had far worse players than arfield - I give you Ian black for example. You are entitled to your opinion but I don’t think saying you detest one of our own players is great patter. Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend though

Gary Shaw

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but to say you detest a Rangers player and especially one who has done as much as Arfield is a bit over the top and quite frankly a shocker of a comment

William

Colak is a goal machine, give him the service he'll score. The referee was partly to blame for the red card. There were previous incidents where the referee let his challenges go without a yellow or at least a severe warning, which leads him to believe he can get away with it.

Steve23

Mate, dislike, don’t rate etc.., perfectly reasonable words to describe a player you don’t think should be in the team. but DETEST….DISGRACE…words used to describe Scott Arfield (or any Rangers player past or present for that matter) Nah, not acceptable, have a word with yourself. I happen to agree SA shouldn’t be in the starting line up, time has caught up with him, that’s natural but he has more than earned the gratitude and respect of the Rangers fans. A great lad and a great pro. Apart from anything else, If a 4-0 win away to Hearts makes you feel like that then maybe you’ve signed up to the wrong podcast? Anyway, won’t be long until your back at Ibrox screaming abuse at the players again.

Bob MacCallum

In 62 years of following Gers there's been quite a few I've detested for various reasons - the above Ian Black being one. Not too strong a word. I don't believe in Rangers ( or their players) right or wrong. Just wearing a blue shirt doesn't make you criticism-free. There are always players fans can't stand. He's one of mine. If I think they're crap or not trying I feel free to detest them.

Gary Shaw

So you detest him because he’s crap? Fair enough, each to their own.

Ross Whitehead

Čolak's first goal was great. Won the ball in midfield, passed it out to Kent and sprinted into the box to get on the end of the resulting cross. Beautiful.

Dougie Jones

Haven't seen enough elsewhere of Devlin to comment but yes, I totally agree with what you say about the talk Gio had with him, and his sheepish reaction to that. Kind of thing you see Pep and Klopp doing. I thought it was class from Gio.

Gary Shaw

This will be controversial but I’m not sure Devlin tried to hurt Matondo…it’s definitely a red but I just think it’s his momentum that takes him down his ankle…he doesn’t go in showing his studs from the start of the tackle like he’s trying to injure him

Craig Mitchell

Lundstram excellent today I thought. Back to take it off his keeper, sprayed it wide confidently to the full backs and was then bombing up to drive us again from the middle. And the 1 o'clock pass was an elite effort. Wowsers.

Ross Fisher

Absolute nonsense. Granted Arfield missed a good chance and misplaced a few passes but your summation, frankly is a disgrace. Don’t get me wrong he frustrates me at times as well but Jeezo!!

Steve23

Now that’s an opinionated but respectful post Bob. You’ve been around our great club long time and seen a lot of great teams and exceptional players, I can understand your passion for the team and I actually agree with your point in general.

Alex Sweden

Some Head Automatica 👌

Alex M

great tune, lucky to have seen em live in Glasgow

Gary Shaw

Just watched the highlights back and it got me thinking,we always say going to Tynecastle is tricky but apart from a couple of horror shows under Warburton,I actually think we’ve did really well there over the years….gave them a few doings aswell

aldo adens

For me the the thing i loved about the game was fact when it was time to battle the players were not scared to do that side of the game and for me done it well. Bits of the game were not good from our point of view i.e the passing and way we played most of the 2nd half in saying that tho if someone before a baw was kicked said game over by start of 2nd half i would have taken it.

Heart and Hand

I know what you mean. I always think Easter Road is trickier for us even though Hearts are usually better.

Steve23

As I’ve said in my previous responses, I’ve no doubt your a good and passionate bear but you have a really unfortunate tendency to present your opinions in a really extreme and inappropriate way. We are talking about Rangers football players here my friend, none of them deserve that from our own fans (Steven NaIsmith maybe the exception) In the case of Arfield, a loyal servant and a player who wears the shirt well and has delivered for us countless times over the years. This is H&H not FF. I go to FF for relative extremism :) and come to H&H for nice things :) By all means criticise any Rangers player you like but I would expect that sort of language from the scum across the city.

Graham Jones

A nice boost with the forwards getting on the scoresheet, but we have a huge task ahead in midweek. Time to close ranks and stick together.

John Palmer

Great to see Alfie come on and score but, if he's gonna do all the Pointing at the Badge and Pointing at the Ground while mouthing whatever he's mouthing then he needs to Sign a New Contract or else it doesn't mean anything.

Gary Shaw

Even at Ibrox,David….I always fancy Hearts in an Edinburgh derby but when we play them both at Ibrox,it’s always the Hibs games that worry me more

David Baillie

I agree with your thoughts on playing players in their natural position. With regard to bringing Sands on at half time yesterday I think Gio played it smart. Just supposing he used King and he gets injured. Sands is suspended for Anfield. We then have to line up against Liverpool with Goldson and Davies. No back up on the bench and Davies with hardly any game time behind him. Gio got it right.

David

Christ, I come in to view the comments after a good gers performance and a rout and the comments are filled with absolute nonsense. Is this where all the banned FF users come to vent their anger 😂. Great performance, great 3 points, keeps the pressure on them and we are positive going into the toughest away game we will have played in the last 15 years

Spoon

Great pod guys. Don’t mean to be negative after a 4-0 but I think the chat around Kent sums up where we are as a squad, yes he got a goal, yes I absolutely hope it’s the start of a goal run but history tells us it’s not the norm it’s the exception to how he plays and we are far too sentimental with guys like him who aren’t producing in the now but they get a pass based on historical contribution or potential contribution. It blows my mind. I wonder sometimes listening to some of the support what Colak actually has to do to be the first choice striker, not aiming this at you guys btw, he links up, he plays positive passes, he defends, he presses and he does the hard bit….finishing. Similar to the Kent point, yes Alfie is a potent striker but what has he done for us recently ? Been unfit, been petulant, been unavailable so why are we automatically jumping him past Colak? There is a reason folk aren’t battering down our door for guys like Kent and Alfie and we seem to be blind to it and a bit in denial. I get we have a need to think we have rebuilt and have a good squad but the reality is some are just not up to it or past their sell by date. It’s a bit like the first year back up where we kept Halliday as he’s a good guy while his ability was limited and most importantly limiting us. Sorry for the rant, was great to see a positive performance but to get that week in week out we need to revamp our team and freshen our standard first 11 or we will come a cropper. It’s frustrating because unlike many I think we actually have a lot of good player and other with potential but they need to get game time over the limited old guard more often.

Spoon

100% correct, slow, wasteful and gets a pass from lots as he hares about like a headless chicken

Spoon

Always good to see players contributing but I wish we would stop talking down Colak as some form of limited striker. There are few all round complete strikers out there and those that are that skilled cost a fortune. If Colak played for the unwashed they would have him pegged as world class and a messiah but for some reason we want to constantly talk about the fact he isn’t as physical as a guy who attracts loads of fouls and reds due to being….really physical. I like Alfie, I want him to do well but he’s isn’t better than Colak he’s just a different striker type. Similarly Colak isn’t worse and you could argue is much more natural at finishing than Alfie and his roaming buccaneering style. Time to stop playing down the big man and start talking him up, there’s no need to be comparing him to Alfie just compare the output.

Scott

i think there is a problem with the uploading of these. still hasn't shown up in my apple podcasts app when everything released after has. same thing happened with another recent post match (think it was OF). used to just be a few hours later to appear but now it's days
