Most Rangers fans are feeling down just now..I am so fed up with the same boring play and I never run my team down...will be there backing them again on Saturday and was there to the final whistle at the liverpool match but its getting harder....keep up the good work guys I would hate to have to comment after a game like tonight.

100% correct with your match summary. Fringe players not taking their opportunity again. More concerning is the attitude of the senior players, JL and Tav have been playing way below the acceptable standard for the majority of this season, for me, they need to take responsibility and drive the standards. Yilmaz just about the only positive, he looked pretty good. Hate to say it as I always defend him but Alfie is a real concern, taking everything into account this season so far I think he is finished with us, what a disappointing end to his Rangers career if that’s how it turns out. Fans booing a winning Rangers side is massive, Gio needs to get a grip of that dressing room, if he can’t, he needs to go.

Graham Jones

No ambition in the play, because it appears that fringe player lack the ambition to fight their way into the first team on a regular basis. Sure, we won and that is the main thing, but this attitude needs to change dramatically.

Don't mind Morelos missing chances as long as he keeps getting them. I do mind him having a face like a slapped arse and shaking his head when getting subbed after stinking out Ibrox for over an hour.

Attitude. Confidence. Form. Fitness. All worse under Gio. Big game results worse. Signings, like all managers a mixed bag but worse than last 4 years overall. No sign of young Dutch gems. Gio is a nice guy, seemed a good fit but it's not. Change him during world Cup. This squad needs a disciplinarian manager and a sports psychologist or it's no trophies next year.

We chop and change midfield and wingers virtually every game, yet no matter the combination we continue to look lifeless, and just boring. Good players are looking totally short of confidence and belief. We are safe, ponderous and torture to watch in far too many games. It all feels like the end of a team and a manager unfolding in front of us.

Interesting stats: SG's total win ratio at Rangers 64.8% - GVB is 64.5% If you take the Champions League games out for Gio his total goes up to 69% His win ratio this season is 60% If you take the CL group games out, it goes up to 75%. This is roughly the same ratio as SG had in 55 season Perception vs reality. Does winning during a tough period not count for anything? Do we allow mitigating circumstances to factor in? Is it fair to include CL and not praise how well we're doing to have 75% domestic and euro qualifying win ratio with an injury and unfit list that has consisted of Goldson, Helander, Souttar, Jack, Lawrence, Hagi, Roofe, Morelos, Lowry - also including Tav and Lundstram playing thru injuries at times

The Gio debate is driven by perception. While that is definitely the real politik of football, it doesn't have to become a factor that obliterates and distorts all the others. That becomes mob justice and propaganda. Gio isn't Gerrard. But Gerrard also wasn't really the Gerrard we think we remember either. But I bet you any money if Gerrard was grinding out victories like this in the current circumstances, people would find it admirable and very much "the Rangers way"

Is our problem fairly simple - fitness ??? Our lack of running off the ball, pressing and inability to play at any kind of tempo for the majority of 90 mins is clear in every match.
