It was a joy to watch on Saturday. How much of that was down to how Aberdeen set up and how much we forced them to play badly will bear out over the next few weeks.

Have to admit I'm one of the people who thought Kent wasn't very good on Saturday. I just don't think he delivers as much as he should. His goal return is brutal. Team played well overall though finally! Hopefully keeps it up for a wee run now.

Agree with Adam on sands. His dynamic energy in comparison with other midfielders , helps him get closer to opponents to win the ball in 50 50s or counter press their attacks. Sakala is one of the few players in our squad wasn’t fazed in any game he has played this season. He might miss chances , but, he keeps looking for the next opportunity . It also looks like the team have learned from their Napoli defeat the value of work-rate. Influenced by their European opponents the value in work application to win games.

I think we as a support tend to give the young Scottish/academy lads more time. Whereas foreign lads of the same age don’t always get the same understanding of their youth. I think it’s the age old attitude of British football fans well they must be good if they’re signed from anywhere but the UK

If Kents worth 7mil then Tillman worth 6mil

Champions League has clearly destroyed our confidence. sadly we need this dead rubber out of the way tomorrow to continue to get our season back on track

Fully on board with Saturdays performance being the standard but I think I'll forgive the team if they can't manage the best part of 40 shots at goal every week. Great pod lads.

I agree with Adam on Sakala. Is he perfect? No, far from it. But he is direct and unpredictable, he makes things happen and must be a mightmare to defend against. I'm not a big one for stats, but he has goals (incl Old Firm) and assists that on a 90 min pro rata basis must be a match for anyone else in Scottish football.

Kent sold his soul to Milhouse.

Livingston at home might have been interesting with a functional midfield and Sakala on the right. I wouldn't mind seeing Matondo on the left.

Great pod lads. Much better on Saturday. Touching on the comments about Sands, I actually thought he was better when he went back to centre half. Don’t think his passing is anywhere near progressive enough to play in midfield. That’s how I felt at the game anyway, was annoyed a few times with him going backwards. Weird how you can see things differently. He’s an interesting player in that his versatility is vital to us but is he worth paying what’s going to be asked for him? Tillman is a star in the making. I’ve never got the narrative that he’s lazy. I think his pressing is excellent. So smart with his timing. Will only get better and if we managed to get a deeper midfielder who could find him even quicker it would improve him even more. His movement is top notch.

Regarding Kent, I’ve defended him when he’s off form as his work rate has always been great. There’s a drop off in that now for me. And his goal return for a 7 million pound winger is embarrassing, genuinely embarrassing. Time to move him and Morelos on for whatever we can get in January and Id gives that would mean 1-2 million each if we are lucky. Shocking situation to be in.
