Interesting stuff at the start, I remember the debates online on forums of folk either loving or hating Kris Boyd and folk would say it was like having a man down - to start him. I was always more for Boyd.

I think that mob are happier with their European showing is because they acquitted themselves ‘okayish’. They lacked quality but made quite a lot of chances and had intensity. Also they are top of the league smashing most sides so the general feeling around the club is better which helps. To be clear they didn’t have a good outing but how would we feel about Rangers had we shown up the way they did?

So as it stands, winner of the league still go straight into champions league and runner uo have to qualify?

Tony Goals is a classy guy - that he took the time to mention Alfredo says a lot about his mentality.

They took two points from as easy a group as you could realistically hope to get - despite having almost no injuries. Granted McGregor missed last few games, but other than that they got as many breaks as they could hope for and still only got two points. How many would RM have taken off them if they were missing ten first team players and had Welsh at CB? I thought the manager spoke very well at the press conference today.

Have you and Shane fell out or where has the cropod went too? I know I can't believe it's one of my favourite pods either!

It was almost back this week but he dropped his laptop (seriously!) Back next week unless he hurts himself 😀

It can also be argued that considering the budget they have spent on players since last August that their showing in the CL was below what should have been expected.

Thanks for the update David 👍😊 a rare special appearance on a Friday too. Colak is like a breath of fresh air, positive attitude, plays like he enjoys doing it, tries hard and scores goals! He's demonstrated good ability for link up play plenty of times, so I'd guess he's following gameplan instructions in role and field position when he's not doing so. We must be realistic about future UCL campaigns, it is an exceptionally harsh & unforgiving environment. At the elite level of all sport & competition the very best are effectively equal; in training, talent, mentality, desire & backing. It is who makes the least mistakes so doesn't fulfil their entire potential at that precise moment and that determines who wins. Unrealistic expectations have set us up for this fall and make it seem worse than it actually is. Last season UEL? Aye it was as good as I can remember. But! Actually remember! We barely escaped the group stage and every single later round our opponent could, perhaps should, have put us out. On a different night they would have. So that is the competitive level we are at; Braga, Red Star and at the top end of our game Stuttgart & RBL. We have to follow the examples of Malmo, Viktoria Plsen, Bruges, Ludogarets, Cluj, etc, etc in the UCL- go, play, earn, buy, develop & repeat. Look at Man City & PSG, practically limitless funding for over a decade, bankrolled by oil states, yep an exceptionally rich entire country in their corners. The very top level coaches. Still not enough to win it. A single mistake can rule out a season's efforts. Harsh & unforgiving! Shocked to hear about Scott Cunningham. Wishing you the very best for a swift recovery.

Loved the choice of intro music today - one of my first concerts was Carter at the Barras. Keep up the good work especially the 90s throwback tunes !

You forgot, "incidentally" and "ekstetera" 😀

To be fair, the St Johnston game is on Monday in New Zealand

We need to win all our games to the World Cup then we will see how we’re placed with players returning. The crucial turning point for me is the game against them at Ibrox. If we can win that with a bit of a swagger then the title race is back on. If not then there has to be a change and build for next season. The arrogance and entitlement from that bunch is something else. In the words of Kevin Keegan, id luv it if we beat them, luv it.
