Well, it's here. April 2014 saw Rangers with a cup final and cup semi-final to go for...and they would lose both. Fan anger was high enough without a leaked image of the squad and management having a post-loss karaoke at the stadium.

Join the Davids, Stuart and Rob as they continue to chart Ally McCoist's time as Rangers boss.

Painful memories still from that day at Easter Road. A totally meaningless trophy, but it felt like it meant everything that day to the support who travelled through. It seemed like the starting line up was picked from subbiteo men being thrown in the air and wherever they landed was the formation. Tried to make a day out of it with my daughter going for lunch etc beforehand and then couldn’t get away from the place quick enough. Took a train home which wasn’t going to my station, but general area, and stood all the way just to get away from what I’d just witnessed. Then the meltdown on FF later when the karaoke pictures appeared. Oh, abd the steepness of that new stand running pitch length at Easter road was an absolute death trap. And breathe

Calum Robertson

My one and only ever game at Easter Road

I do ‘enjoy’ these pods unfortunately they normally send me to the YouTube machine 😂 I can remember the games but can’t really remember how awful we were then I watch the highlights 😳 Last week was bad enough then we get to this point.

John Smith

This month in particular I got pelters from non Rangers

The Ramsdens cup final was a very very low point

William Ross

The amount of times I saw a team sheet from ally and thought 'what on earth is he thinking...."

David Innes

Remember being absolutely buzzing before the Dundee Utd game despite what had happened in the cup final - sticks out as one of the low points for me

Andrew Ewing

Would it be possible to play some selected sound bites from the heart and hand episodes from that time and put them in the latest show? Might be interesting to hear the thoughts from then?

Rob Shorthouse

I'm exactly the same, David. Was absolutely certain that we were going to win the Cup

Ross McDonald

Well done bringing it all back to life so vividly. I watched the Raith Rovers game at Ibrox hospitality with my family (see, it was a big deal!) and what started out as an exciting day turned pretty grim. Remember seeing the team bus arriving after the game, too. Definitely felt like a turning point regarding Ally from most people around us that day.

Rod

I'm 39 and walking out Easter Road that day is my lowest point as a Rangers fan. Genuinely never felt so low.

Rod

Minor fact check, the Ramsdens was at Easter Road for the same reason the semi was at Ibrox. It should have been at parkhead but the sfa bent the knee to celtic who didn't want us taking over their stadium..

In purely footballing terms this was my lowest moment following Rangers. We had hospitality booked but I fell off my bike at Eaglesham windfarm in the morning and missed the bus. So had to get the train through... Walking from Waverley station to the game along London Road I was absolutely buzzing; it felt like the old days but for some reason as the stadium came into view I had "a moment" and I knew it wasn't going to be our day.. no idea what this sixth sense was but it was just a fear of impending doom... Got into the stadium, main stand, near the dugouts and then say a guy fall down the stairs directly opposite and get injured quite badly. It was one of those comedy falls from Tom & Jerry, but the guy didn't bounce up at the bottom.. the game was horrific and as the madness unfolded the abuse directed towards Super Ally got worse and worse. There is no way he couldn't have heard what was being said. One of the less explicit was a guy saying over and over "you are humiliating us, Ally, just go" over and over again. (He didn't say "just go" btw... It was a bit more industrial). He had been my hero my entire life and it was terrible to hear. However, as we sat in the pub in relative silence that night, we all knew; he had to go and it was just a matter of time

Angus Mackay

That was horrific , just could not understand why ally didn’t move steven smith to lb and bring on a winger , or why we didn’t start 442 , Daly was absolutely knackered by that stage of the season

The walk out of Easter Road that day will live me forever and I have been dreading this episode. When I think of things being bad it makes my mind go back to that day.Well done on the show lads and the attitude from the 1989 Scottish cup final should always be our attitude!!

I was raging when i found out they partied after that game.
