If Mick Beale is given the job, which looks likely, then im sure we will all get behind him. However, if he is really the best man that the board can get I worry about this board and Ross Wilsons ability to grow the Club and keep us moving forward. Easy option and likely one of the cheapest.

Scott Dickson

For anyone who cares, it was me who took the picture last night of Wilson and Robertson in Marylebone. Stunned when I walked by them (I was at an industry awards do), but clearly in the right part of the city for speaking to the QPR manager

David

Can you stay and follow them and report back who they are talking to? 😂

Gregg

Think a lot of our support are in a perma rage and looking for things to be annoyed about tbh. Lot of negativity around Beale - which is understandable to an extent - though I get the impression folk are waiting to be proved right and giving it I told you so. All the candidates linked have question marks or flaws in some respect. On an aside - Helen Flanagan is back on the market Colin. In the words of Lloyd - “so you’re telling me there’s a chance” 😂

John Smith

Felt sad listening to David Martindale. Anyone who can’t look past someone who made a mistake in his life is frankly a snobbish wanker. I’d love him at the club

James Maclachlan

Rangers 4- 1 against the sheep, Beale in directors box says it all, best we have played all season this far

Billy Forrester

Get behind Beale if if is in fact him, we are stronger together and he stands more of a chance if we unite than if we start downplaying him before he has even started. The man was good enough for us when we won 55 and there was vociferous support for him to be the next manager before Gio was announced so dont get all the negativity on some threads and posts, yes it’s a gamble but so was Gio and every other manager, some work and some don’t but at least give him a chance before we start the he isn’t ready stuff, neither was Gerrard but we loved him until he left like a cheap whore in the middle of the night

Paul Kerr

It's actually quite disheartening to hear Martindale talk like that. I think you're right Colin, he's definitely worthy of a Hearts or Aberdeen level job on his own merits and who knows from there.

Gregg

Think Colin summed it up well - if he went to a bigger club and proved he can do well and play good football he could go again. You just know if he came to us the press would dredge up loads of stories from his past which is sad

Michael Beale shows the lack of ambition of the club. He will not be supported financially by the board as well and will be lucky to last a year before he is hounded out. Can't see an end to this cycle. Pissed off with the whole thing.... would love to be wrong

Gregg

Who should and could we have went for that would have shown the ambition of the club?

Neil McWhirter

Cheapest? Going to have to pay for him..

Craig Robertson

The guy served time for dealing drugs. He was sentenced to 6 years. He wasn't sharing a bit of hash with his pal. Should be no where near the Rangers manager's office.

Stuart Laidlaw

The longer this takes the more I think Beale is not coming

maccalsa

@Gregg Carson. No idea, but then I'm not taking the interviews. Beale is coming in because of his history with the club, and that fans remember him being pivitol to the title and can spin it as such. Take your eyes of the team and the awful scouting network. Look at your shiny new manager, you like him right? All smoke and mirrors sir. We are almost back to Pedro level
