  • What are the player's strengths & weaknesses?
  • How do they fit into the tactical style?

Good chat folks I love Tavenier almost as much as Adam does, and one of Beale's first tasks needs to be getting him back to form. He is now at an age where despite his incredible fitness and stamina, we need to have cover and also allow him the odd cup game off. Devine needs to start getting some game time, even if it's off the bench. On the other side, I have zero confidence in Barisic - we all know a confidence collapse is in the post, and with his tendency to cross at every opportunity, we become very predictable down that side. I'd be inclined to encourage offers in Jan or the summer to get a couple of £m for Borna if at all possible, that we can reinvest elsewhere. It's time for Ridvan to take over the left back slot. Give him games, let's see what he can do. We know Barisic's ceiling, but Ridvan may have potential to go far, far higher. Looking forward to the discussion on centre midfield and our glut of players who all perform the same role!!

I’m definitely team Tav as well. Whilst he is over 30 he started late in terms of first team regular football so doesn’t have as much miles on the clock as certain 30 year olds - I think and hope he’s still got a few years too performances. Hopefully the break has done him good

Domestically, Yilmaz offers us everything we need I reckon. Unpredictable forward passes through the lines and out to in runs seem to be a couple of his strengths in the cameos we’ve seen so far. Time for him to take over on the left!
