How did we go from a European final to where we were so quickly. What went wrong. Where did the confidence go from winning the Scottish Cup?

CRAIG CASSELLS

Think early season injuries to key players along with the CL pummelings have seen this squad of players retreat into their shells.

Mark

I think maybe Beale was channeling a bit of the vintage SAF psychology in his post-match comments yesterday. It was a an opportune time to send a message out while confidence levels in the squad must surely be rising. It is improving lads but we are nowhere near the required standard yet etc...

If we show the hesitancy which I saw in our play at times last night, then I fear they will run over the top of us

David Innes

My interpretation of his comments is that he’s trying to manage our expectations ahead of the OF game. He could have talked up the 4 wins on the spin, praised the players mentality etc but we are still not in a very good place and trying to pretend otherwise would just make him look foolish further down the line.

Craig Mitchell

My favourite Rangers song that is. Top DT Andrew, thank you.

Michael James McLeod

I'll happily take an honest and frank manager than one that repeats the same rhetoric. Why would we care how the main stream media spin what the manager says when they've spent the past decade disparaging the club? Surely no rangers fan is still reading that shite. The FF team have mentioned this as a negative about Michael Beale quite a few times, why is this ?

"I'd been on exile for some years"...Wolverhampton Town is a great song.
