Nice one lads. Agree we are snobby as a support on signing within Scotland. Though have to agree with Alex on Porteous. 3million for Ferguson would have had people go nuts but 3million on Matondo was welcomed. Lol

Great show guys, always though provoking. I like Nesbit, and I’m also on Kev’s side regarding Porteous. He’s definitely got ability, though the fact that he is several bricks short does make it far more of a challenge. Could Beale and his team tame his idiot streak? I’d like to think so. For a free transfer, decent business for me.

In regards pitch sizes and from memory before a cup semi final Gordon Strachan was in the punditry role and he said that Ibrox Parkhead and hampden all had same pitch dimensions and thats why a St mirren v St Johnstone semi final should always be played at hampden he also said Rangers and celtic play on " that " size of pitch every home game

Where has the questions over Lowrys attitude come from. I was under the impression that the club were just building up his fitness and slowly integrating him into the 1st team again. Tillman is playing well in his position. He needs to feature more but think this felt like a bit of character assassination just off somebodys opinion there attitude is wrong.

I was wondering this as well, has this come from people who are close to the youth team or have the club put the word out discreetly? Or is it just something that someone assumed was the case that's now feeding off itself the more it gets repeated?

I think something that needs taking into account when considering player mentality is that despite coming from the Premiership, they have often never played under the pressure and expectation that they will under Rangers. It's easier to maybe let standards slip (as they are from our perspective) when the standards allow for draws/losses every other week. Players like Davies/Cantwell if Beale can manage them correctly may well flourish when the standards presented are that of 'you need to be at your best every minute or every game, no exceptions'. Sometimes the pressure can bring the best out in players.
