Rangers 2-1 Aberdeen AET Postmatch Reaction 15 Jan 2023

Gers do it the hard way but David is happy as we get set for the League Cup Final next month.

Judging by some of the reactions in the media, I think we’ve upset a lot of people in the media today. GOOD!

David Campbell

Just in from the game myself I'll need to watch it back but initial thoughts massive victory for beale onto the final. However Alan mcgregor is 100%finished as our number 1 he just doesn't give me or more importantly our defence any confidence. Stood frozen to his line as the ball whistles inches wide. I also thought if he was more on his toes he could’ve got to the ball through before Aberdeen scored. Although borna was the main culprit for that goal for sure. Anyway job done onto Wednesday night and a tricky game on a shite pitch it wouldn't of been a classic on Wednesday but it's now just about getting out there with 3 points no injuries and up the road. Huge week started well 👍

I hope Beale sees what the rest of us do with shagger, itsa shame but his head has gone completely so we should just give him the send off he deserves at the end of the season if there's no chance of the league which looks likely at this point.

Lundstrum - I just don't see what he is bringing to this team now. Slack passes, unnecessary fouls , giving away possession in the key battle ground. Not convinced at all by him since he signed. Flashes of great play but all too inconsistent.

Sandy Riach

Big Flange was complaining about the pitch yesterday apparently. What are the SFA doing?

Colin Munro

even playing the semi's a week apart would make little difference to the state of that pitch... no growth in January weather... needs a hybrid pitch like Ibrox

Fraser Black

Is Kemar Roofe in line to have one of the saddest Rangers careers we’ve ever seen? Such a talent but my god that poor bastard is made of glass . . .

Tamus

Rangers should build a statue of Allan McGregor, and play it in Goals instead of Allan McGregor

Adam Copeland

This season showing signs comparable to McLeish's first season. Very poor league campaign saw Advocaat sacked. Squad looked done. McLeish takes over squeezes a bit more out a few players, improves league results and wins both cups. However, stillcant rely on the current squad to get us to these two cups. Signings need to be in this week I'd say.

Skol Cup then, Skol Cup now, Skol Cup forever
