Ian

I have not listened to the daily update yet as I am catching up on work??? Why I hear you ask, cause I have been on that bloody ticket website for well over an hour, Fn ridiculous, there must be an easier way!!

Jim Smith

I admire your restraint David when talking about our ticket web site. Utterly utterly horrendous to deal with.

Gazza G

Alfie gets that move, his agent deserves a raise!

Bilko Katt

An hour and 20 minutes. With any other purchase from anywhere else I'd have binned it and gone elsewhere. Rangers are genuinely bad for your blood pressure.

Graham McCallum

How about asking the club why David, there may well be a simple reason 🤔😊

Neil Wilson

Just ordered my ticket now. Took about 10 mins, but had to duplicate certain steps to complete the process. When it comes to saving card details, I just use Google wallet to speed up the process. Shouldn't have to, but it works better. I know Rangers were speaking with Ticketbast*rd a while back about using their infrastructure. That's good and bad depending on the deal.

George Higgins

Now two hours and still can’t get my ticket. The process is horrendous.

Ian

Thats exactly what happened to me, kicked out at least three times

Heart and Hand

There is - the ticket website is shite. They’ve admitted it publicly before but they’re stuck in a contract.

Greg

Disgusted with the cut off for tickets, wild how high it is.

Tom

Two separate attempts but finally got there. Awful experience. That took an hour and a half out of my day... Jeez - the things we do following the teds...🙈

Tom

And thanks for your rant Davey...saves me doing it 🤣

David Campbell

The website is a bloody disaster I could not get signed in😂😂😂 some ordeal but I was successful in the end.

Andrew Hillis

Multiple attempts over 4 hours nonstop to purchase tickets! I am convinced it is to do with being in a friends and family group with my two boys! Delighted to eventually get the tickets but good god - far too stressful! 🤬🤬🤬

Scott McKenzie

Seriously what is the point in the CCS when you have to go on the garbage that is the website to get a ticket 🤬

Bob MacCallum

Re ticket website, well said, David. I had to run the gauntlet, getting more frustrated and stressed with every passing minute. At the end, felt like I'd won an Olympic medal!

Trev @JimmyBell_Loyal

And FFS, over 1200 points to get a final ticket. Raggin actually!!

Rod

Time remaining on a contract is a HUGE factor in assessing a players value, fans need to know how many years someone has left if they want to judge if a bid is good value or not. It's a nonsense.

Steven L

Mygers is the biggest scam rangers have done. Absolute joke. Same face at every big game.

Douglas Innes

That'll be the " loyalty " aspect if you are on about semi finals and finals and Europe , league games its a lottery

Craig Clements

Our ticket purchase website is an absolute fucking disgrace. Get into the board next time you get a chance

Alan Stewart

It shouldn’t be stressful buying tickets. I wasted 2 hours at lunchtime. Every time i went to pay for tickets, it would kick me out. Murder. Finally managed to get 2 for the NS. An absolute shambles of a website

Neil Shepherd

Over 2 hrs it took me to get a ticket…..a total shambles

Murch

Does anyone know how many are in the tiers for the final tickets? I.e. how many are in the ST, CCCS, MyGers category??? Many thanks for any help.

Stephen

I enjoyed the subtle approach to identifying the source of the delay in the Ally show. Very stealthy.

Heart and Hand

Spoke to club about ticket website - they know it’s very bad. They say they are developing a new system with a large ticketing company that should solve all these issues in future.

Al-WATP

Buying games on RTV is also an absolute pain in the arse and takes far too long ….. it gets to the point where you’re thinking do you want my money or not. ?!? why can’t it be simple ? 🤷🏼‍♂️

Graham Jones

The only thing I saw was that it was a long term deal, however you define that.

Jamie

Not releasing fees - I assume is to avoid other clubs knowing how much we have to waste. For example, if we wanted to sign a player after Bassey who would’ve usually cost £2m, clubs could know we would spend an extra £1/2m because we received such a high fee in relation to usual. Contracts - again I would assume it’s to publicly put off other clubs trying to tap players up if they know they only have 12/6 months left on a deal. Again these are just guesses as all information ends up out in the press anyway, but if it doesn’t come from the clubs or family members then the clubs could always deny it to benefit themselves as much as possible! Just my guess.

Dejon Yeoman

Totally agree with Jamie, non disclosure of contract detail at this stage to avoid weakening or influencing the active negotiations for new players and current player contract extensions.

Jamie Kirk

The website is an embarrassment to any modern day business. Whoever is in charge of this is grossly underperforming.

David Clapperton

On Ryan Jack’s contract. I’d like to see him getting another deal but perhaps on reduced weekly basic but heavily bulked up with appearance/availability bonuses. Win-win??

Steve23

Any info from the club as to why the MyGers points threshold is so high? I’ve missed the cut by a few points, on CCCS and my spending habits have been the same for years and I’ve always got a ticket. Pissed off aas it looks like the corporate allocation is excessively high. Haven’t missed a game friendly or otherwise this season as with previous seasons and I’m now missing out. I won’t be spending the same next season, it’s pointless if I’m missing finals.

Graeme Guthrie

Rangers da's suggest this a lot on twitter, but what incentive is there for a player to accept this kinda deal. Jack knows his injury history, his agent will be want to get him a high weekly pay

Jamie

The first point actually happened, with Ben Davies. £500k player, moves to Liverpool, goes on loan to a similar level team without playing minutes, sold for £3m profit, not long after we punted Bassey. Value doesn’t go up that much in they circumstances outwith surely.

David Clapperton

The incentive for him would be to remain a Rangers player and leader in the dressing room, still on a good wage that he’s going to struggle to get elsewhere. IMO his other offers would be mid table English championship. Moving his family or commuting involves a big change. Not saying if he’s injured he gets nothing, clearly that’s not a deal anybody would sign. It has to work for player and club. There’s no doubt he’s a big player when fit bit his availability has been a constant problem and it’s not going to get any better the older he gets.

Heart and Hand

Noise is lower ticket amount than semi as SPFL take more for final, more members this season and points rise season on season apparently. I had thought it would be about 1000 this time so was surprised.

Steve23

Thanks and fair enough, I was expecting around 900+ I don’t mind if I miss out to genuine fans with more points, heard it was increased allocation to corporate earlier. Your explanation sounds more plausible to be honest,

Delgers

David, do you think the club are likely to disclose to you the actual number of people in priority group 1? I've missed out by 10 points and seriously considering telling them to ram it for me and my 3 kids next season with regards to mygers. From what I can see online, this high threshold might end up losing them more in the long run, with alot of non renewals next season

Steve23

I feel the same way mate, I’ve got me and my son, on CCCS as well. If it’s due to number of genuine fans and more in the silver and gold groups then fair enough but I have to be honest, I didn’t see that high threshold coming!

Brian Johnstone

I’d keep Jack for another two seasons. Not sure about Arfield though. Definitely need to keep one of them.

Delgers

Thanks for the reply, yeah hopeful that I should be ok. Fingers 🤞

Tommy

With regards to your final point, it is strange and concerning given our recent history that the club seems to be against transparency, even if it’s something as innocuous as contract lengths. Someone somewhere in the club has taken the view that the less we know the better and that’s not good enough.
