Rangers Confirm Signing Of Nicolas Raskin

RANGERS Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Nicolas Raskin from Standard Liege for an undisclosed fee on a long-term contract, subject to a work permit being confirmed. The 21-year-old Belgian under-21 international becomes Michael Beale's second signing as the Rangers manager further strengthens the Gers squad.

Welcome to the famous Glasgow Rangers 🔴⚪🔵

Rod

"Long term contract". 🙃

Alan Murdoch

I am so excited to see this guy play.

Ryan Lynch

I had a gut feeling he would sign... ...

KennyY

Brilliant signing. Been calling out for this type of player for so long

Neil 55

Hope he's worth the wait.

William Black

Took a couple of weeks longer than we’d have hoped but this is a coup. Brilliant signing.

Craig

Right out the blue! Never saw that coming! :D

John Smith

unBEALEvable Jeff 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

Stewart Robertson

Good feeling about this. Hope he's another Gattuso.

Martin Davies

Just wait until later on tonight: "We're delighted to announce the signing of an undisclosed player for an undisclosed position for an undisclosed fee on an undisclosed length contract"

Peter Hosie

A bit late as the wee lassie had the scoop an hour ago 😂🤣

Ross Whitehead

The Rangers TV interview is dated 30/1/23, so the deal was done yesterday and the club have been dragging it out!

Neil Wilson

Cantwell and Raskin have the potential to be very good signings. You can see exactly where they'll fit into the team. If that's our business for this window, it looks like a strong window.

Chris Wight

The RTV interview gives the impression that he is here to win and only to win. What an attitude for a 22 year old. By the sounds of it the pull Michael Beale has is bigger than we thought, maybe he deserves a bit more credit there.

Graham Jones

Terrific signing, and he’s an actual midfield player! Good window for us, even if it took along time with negotiations. I guess that comes with the territory. Both signings improve the first eleven. Another will be great, but to be honest I don’t care because these were a priority. 👍

John Davidson

Sounds like he has what we need. Hope he settles well and is given time to adapt to the unique challenge of playing for Rangers. Welcome to the Greatest Club in the World.

David Innes

Brilliant - hope he lives up to the hype now!

keith wright

I don’t believe he will be able to play tomorrow night, I think he has to wait for a work permit now. Probably take a day or 2. Hope by the weekend he’ll be in the squad!

Douglas Hannah

Exactly what we’ve been missing for a long time in midfield.
