About the celebration, can you ever recall one of the manky mobs former players having a go like that at a current player? Ferguson, McCann have done it a good few times over literally nothing yet they'll be welcomed to Ibrox for the legends game or to sit with Emma Dodds talking about the game, this shit needs to stop

Scott Tolmie

Absolutely spot on, our foreign ex players act better than some of our ex home grown

Paul McCabe

I think I was one of the guys who chucked Angus up in the air after the Jack goal, small world 😂

Colin Gardner

What a performance. Probably one of the best at Tynecastle I've seen and best performance this season.Bar has been set.

Scott

Fantastic defense of Alfie, David. Alfie really has his wee haters on strings.

Alexander Laird

Thanks David. As for the closing track,it takes me back to Heaven in Charing Cross Road early 1980's. Top choice. WATP

John Smith

On Neil McCann, He like myself has a soft spot for Hearts as well as Rangers and he’s maybe feeling he needs to defend them a wee bit. But yeah I think he’s maybe just spoke in the heat of the moment and all will be well again on Saturday

Greg

"wee Neil" has had an issue with alfie for a long time, anyone who has seen him on rtv can't deny it, he said what he said then doubled down along with miller and Gordon. Not a good look.

John Buchan

Well done for sponsoring our new signing. How about a raffle for our subscribers attending when you sponsor the ball or match at ibrox just a thought

Mark

If you look at FF on any given day then you will find page-after-page of Rangers fans calling Alfie fat, unprofessional, a liability etc... but when Neil McCann makes negative comments about him (and McCann has had a nightmare here btw) then it's framed (on FF laughably) as this heinous act of betrayal that should see him cast out of Ibrox, never to return to RTV. Are we all really *that* sensitive? Mick Beale summed it up perfectly in his presser, the entire thing is a fuss over nothing.

Gregg

Stopped going on follow follow about 6 months ago - all the better for it. A thoroughly depressing place now sadly 😂

Callum Dinnen

Tillman is a victim of his languid style. He *looks* like he's lazy - Özil was a victim of this as well. I've seen a few people complain about his defensive work, despite his ball recovery stats.

James McConnachie

Great work on the money raised over the years. Tell me this though; have you ever considered releasing a stylish range of polos with a famous 70s music act thereon? Perhaps the Corries or Sydney Devine #cash-cow

Graham Jones

McCann will be feeling a right tit today. Tillman is an absolute no-brainier. He’s one of the most gifted players in Europe for his age. I couldn’t care less what some fans think of him, it’s what the manager thinks. He’s already improved under Beale in two months. There isn’t even a discussion to be had. Sign him.

Neil Johnston

David, you mentioned journalists don't enjoy the actual football. I got that feeling back when I did a week's work experience at the evening times in the early 2000s. I was tasked with going to the airport with Hugh Keevins and I think it was Ronnie Cully (I know) to see the Valencia team with Carew etc arrive at the airport ahead of Celtic's champions league game. Keevins literally did not know one player walking by in the airport foyer. 🤣 It was a realisation that they were involved in a different game from football analysis.

John Buchan

Sponsored the matchball in Peterhead you get 10 guests for £1000 + £100 for each additional guest . Glad I never had to use your ball🤣😂! Just thought it would be a nice touch for patrons if you had spare space

Ross McDonald

To be fair to McCann he did check himself after he said it, plus heat of the moment etc. I have a theory that him and McCoist are particularly tough on Alfie in commentary at least in some way out of frustration at what he could achieve as a player and for the club were it not for his lack of professionalism over the years. It's not beyond the realms of possibility that they've heard the same rumours about his antics that we all have, and probably more.

Gary Shaw

It may not be popular but I was a bit pissed at Morelos for not celebrating with the bears behind the goal…He does seem to enjoy winding up opposing fans more than he likes to celebrate with us…McCanns wording might have been a bit OTT but know were he’s coming from

Gary Shaw

Tbf Sutton slaughtered the thumb for his weight and tore in to Elyanoussi for playing with his phone after he’d been subbed

Dejon Yeoman

Well said Davie Edgar 👏🏼.

Scott Davidson

Thanks for the shout Davie, got quite emotional thinking back to that goal!

Pedro

Superb comments from Beale re: Alfredo. Sums up the idiotic Scottish press to ask "do you want him to celebrate like that". Silly c*nts.

David Gilhooly

Hi David, good show as usual. I was disappointed with Neil's comments after Buff's goal. However, later on in the broadcast he seemed to have given his comments a bit of a rethink and said so. Only to be interrupted by that Bastion of Literacy Willie Miller. Telling Neil, he was correct to call Alfredo an Idiot. How he was upset at Buff's celebrations after the 2 3 win over the sheep. What a Failure of a man, every time he opens his gob.

Rod

If you offered the Scottish football media an enthralling end to end controversy free 3-3 draw or a turgid 0-0 where the 2 managers got sent off for getting into a spat, they would pick option 2 every single fucking time. As David says, they don't enjoy the sport of football.

John Palmer

I'm very surprised to hear that about Neil McCann especially when he's basically an Employee of Rangers as he's always on RTV. Congrats to H&H with the sponsorship of Raskin and how much you've contributed financially to Rangers directly.

Brian Rae

On Neil McCann, very well said, David. I heard the BBC audio and it's honestly like a wee kiss arse trying to get approval from Willie Miller. (Who says he recently did similar against Aberdeen as well)Pathetic and sadly forcing me to rethink my opinion of him.
