Martyn and Adam are joined by Joshua Barrie to finish our eight-part series dissecting how Rangers play both as a team and individually.

In this show, we discuss the centre-forward options currently available and who we feel best suits a Michael Beale style of play. The manager has clearly prioritised centre forward as a key area for summer recruitment so we also discuss what we feel he wants from this position going forward.

Thanks for listening to this mini series, if you have any suggestions for future shows then please let us know!

How do you think a partnership of Sakala and Roofe would do? Roofe's movement and intelligence combined with Sakala's directness might be an interesting combo.

Thanks Martyn, Adam & Josh, great to hear your views on the #9s and all the earlier episodes too (thanks Ally). Shame its coming to a halt. This could be a weekly series discussing the tactics of the previous game, like the video Adam & Ally did for Ross County. Tactics discussion is a phenomenal learning tool to try and understand the players abilities / qualities / performance, the manager & staff's footballing philosophy and importantly the how & why things develop on the pitch (or not!). Systematically the review of performance aired by our support is "That was shite" (no further details!) and overly critical comments of certain players / incidents scapegoating what went wrong. Or "Aye we won but......(insert gripes)" Scottish football mhedia do little to educate on the tactics, or even rules, of the game so its vital we educate ourselves. Thanks again guys.
