Stevie Clifford was at the Old Firm match this even as Rangers Women sunk to a dismal 3-0 loss to Celtic which ends any hope of a title challenge.

Dreadful - hopefully the mens team deliver on Sunday - can't wait

DAVID PARK

just not good enough on any level. If we are going to hold them to the same standards as the men, them something has to change. We are regressing this year, and the failure to find a goal scorer is obvious, one goal, from a penalty, in four games against the other two. I am sure it is not true, but the other teams seem to play with more intensity as if it matters more to them. People within the system need to be held to account, if we are to get value for the investment. Much was made of the cup win, but remember we did that without beating either of top two.

The loss of Ross crippled the title defence before it started. Powderpuff up front. That mob were everything we were not tonight: pacy, direct and hungry. McLean Watson and mcleary must be in line for more game time surely.

John Davidson

Third in a three team league with no wins against the other two. Not good enough.

John Palmer

Wouldn't have picked that photo for today's Pod 🤢🤮

Stevie

First defeat in over 18months so difficult to immediately go there, however, 0/4 wins vs top two, only 1 goal from penalty spot & the same formula & personnel every game would suggest questions will be asked.

Ross Thomson

I admit i don't really keep up to date with the women's team although i watched their games in Europe this season. But for the money the board have invested surely we should be doing better.

Abbie McKenzie

Accurate report & great questions, Stevie 👏🏼 thought a treble was on the cards this season but it seems to be slowly but surely slipping away.

Rick Swan

The loss of our most natural and accomplished striker Jane Ross early in the season has been a major blow. He qualities were necessary against the the other major sides. So many missed opportunities and a lack of a strong and dominant CB last night.

David Marshall

A depressing but totally predictable outcome. A lot of reasons for last night's result but for the season as a whole, a lot of comparisons can be made to this season and the men's season last year. A failure to build from a position of strength.

Scott Watson

Maybe also a similar comedown/lethargy after achieving the target they've been chasing for so long?

Scott Watson

Don't think I've ever heard someone sound so gutted on a pod Stevie, you alright pal? Thought your questions highlighted one of the best aspects of what fan media can be. Direct and difficult whilst still being respectful

I try to catch as many of the ladies games as i can. It’s clear the talent in the squad is more than enough to win the league, they just haven’t been performing and nailing results. Possession is just not enough, clearly they were told to take more chances in front of goal, some of their choices were awful last night. I thought our players looked like they were out for a Sunday stroll. They certainly weren’t, commitment, focused and the rest as you say is history. Show your mettle now going forward, its the least that’s expected. We’re right behind you all

Stevie

Thanks mate I appreciate that because it’s a hugely difficult place & I was worried I didn’t ask the right stuff. I think thing with FM is you dream of the IVs & access after the great moments, but when you have to ask direct stuff like this it is difficult. Yeah I was gutted, listening to their PA system bang out their nonsense & watch them celebrate hurts at any level. I get RWFC isn’t for everyone, but I enjoy the coverage & it’s great practice. Truthfully I ended up apologising to Tess because maybe the desire one was a bit tough but she said it wasn’t. Anyway, I genuinely appreciate the comments on here & the opportunity to report back. Thank you
