Nah the Champions League thing is bollocks now. Arsenal v Man City was on live at same time a couple weeks ago. Sky often show Championship games during it too.

In regards to not being able to sell our own tv rights to games, maybe it’s because no one is going to pay to watch Livingston vs Ross County etc so it would really only widen the financial gap between the old firm teams and the rest. Would we be happy to share all the money made through this between the 12 teams if that was the only way the SPFL would allow such a thing to happen?

Maybe this is a bad comment on international women's day but surely money is better spent on a strong reserve/b system to develop what are THE MOST IMPORTANT assets of the club rather than on the women's team? I'm all for the women's game but not if it takes finance away from the main event. Very 1960's I know.

Lower league games have always been allowed, it's just top flight matches that uefa don't allow. Arsenal v City was allowed as it was an exceptional postponement due to the queen's death. Lot of nonsense really, no idea how it gets past competition commission rules.

It's ironic that spl TV was floated at a time where it was never going to work and now in the post covid streaming age when it may actually be viable they run a mile from it.
