Totally agree on the need to nurture young talent. Alan’s reference to Derek Johnstone and Willy Henderson was spot on. For every DJ and Henderson we have had there’s been 10 Iain McDonalds and Sandy Robertsons. Oh, and a proper tune. None of Alan’s dodgy prog rock. 🤨😂

To be honest I didn't like the way Cantwell went down. It's one of my pet hates in football these days but to single him out is ridiculous and as you say is just another attempt to put pressure on the officials ahead of the upcoming old firm games

Have to agree with everything you said about Barry, I was lucky to share a pitch with him in the pro youth league and the best Scottish player we have produced in 20-30 year, incredible talent. Hagi can’t get into a rangers team because he’s nowhere near match so his da needs to calm down. Hagi needs to play the 10 role and tbh there’s a few ahead of him.

Conroy is clearly a damaged individual and needs to be taken out of society for his own safety. The fact he ha not hing to do in life but make up this horseshit is testament to his inability to think. This stuff was no the BBC within 24 hours of the game, so it’s something the Celtic media are trying to grow legs on. They will probably spend the international break making hay from something that never happened. We really miss David Graham, because it would never have gotten off the ground during his watch. Barry Ferguson is a marmite character. He splits us down the middle, but you’re were right with the general thoughts that he was an outstanding player first time round and passable during the second spell he had, but, (and it’s a big but), he seems to have turn into a bit of a dipshit since leaving the club. I wouldn’t want him near the management and coaching side, because he leaks like a sieve, and to be frank, he’s not a good enough coach for the staff we have now. He was a moaner as a player, which was fine because it showed he cared, but he’s someone who isn;t fit for higher office at the club. Let him come and play his game, enjoy it and the hospitality afterwards and then he can go back to the papers and reel off anything he’s herd inside the building.
