Bit simplistic, but selling Hagi and or Kamara would fund that level of fee at least in part

Pedro

Matondo ffs 😅😅 can't tell if that's a genuine shout to keep him or just to 'generate discussion'. There's a reason that managers don't play him and that his previous club were delighted to move him on and take a 9million hit on him. No danger we are able to sell him anyway so he may well stay based on that.

Stuart McWilliams

I can see us buying Tilman and then selling him within 6 months for a profit (similar to what the Belgian club did with Jack Hendry). He's worth more than 5 million so it's a potential quick profit for the player trading model if we can make it worth.

Mark

Arfield strikes me as someone who has a very bright future ahead of him after retiring. Fantastic servant but he needs to go and play games.

Ewan Christie

Not signing Tillman would be incredibly short sighted, we are simply not in a position to pass on that talent or future value. Hagi/Kamara should net us around £8m, £5m of that to be ring-fenced for Tillman, and the rest to be added to the budget. Outside of the Tillman money, I’m expecting us to go and spend at least £10m.

Scott Watson

It really does strike me as the closest thing to a "can't lose" that you can get There are no guarantees in life. We COULD still get unlucky - he could fall over and break both his legs the day we sign him and he never plays football again. I agree with Strider, if we don't find a way to finance a deal like this, we would be limiting our ambitions in a detrimental way

Michael Gray

I know it’s just an example from Kev, but a budget of 6m is way off for this season. Perhaps residual affects of years of chaos. I’d be astonished if we don’t spend gross 15m this year

Ian Miller

Really enjoy this show, what about a similar format "sister" show discussing possible transfer tagets that each guest brings to the table?

Callum Dinnen

If the transfer budget is only £5m, we should spend it on Tilman. If it's £4m, beg, borrow or steal the additional million needed. We cannot afford not to sign him.

Luke

Tillman is the priority signing, I hope we manage to sign him. Will be gutted if we go into next season and he isn’t part of the team.
