Tight folk Two of my workmates went on a touring holiday to the US. At one point on the holiday they both went into a second hand bookstore in San Diego and spent a few minutes browsing. Standing at the till waiting to be served Pal a had three books, Pal b had one. Pal b suddenly disappeared back into the shop. When pal a left the store with his three books pal b was outside without a book. Pal a asked where his book was. Pal b replied that he put it back on the shelf as he concluded Pal a couldnt read three books at the same time.

Guy at my work never told his wife how much he earned - it was a good wedge - as he wanted them to go 50/50 for dinners, nights out etc. His wife was a nurse - suffice to say it didn’t last. Without doubt the most miserable fucker with money I have ever met
