Brian Rae

Hopefully more changes follow.

Graham Jones

I was just thinking this was due to happen, so no real surprise. Bennett has the energy to move the club forward, and is someone who will give the club a clean slate. He’ll be a good chairman for us.

Mren90

Issues with the pods playing. That's a few now in the last week

Jordan

For people celebrating this. Better the devil you know would be my warning

Andrew

Hopefully Bennett was following the party line when he gave that ridiculous interview earlier this season and has his own ideas.

SDF

Douglas Park stayed during the Covid crisis, helped plug financial blackholes and delivered the most important title of our lives when some armchair quarterbacks ran a mile. He goes with my very best wishes

Ross MacEachan

The breaking news music always takes me back to the first breaking news pod you guys did in 2017 when Derek McInnes bottled taking over as manager. Talk about PTSD 😂

Gordon Mac

Thank you for your service, hope Douglas is keeping well

Ross Whitehead

I put my phone down for an hour and this happens! Many thanks to Mr Park and good luck to Mr Bennett!

Scott Tolmie

Not good news and big thank you to the man.

Colin Mathie

2 trophies in 12 yrs David, that's nowhere near good enough for our club, hopefully a new chairman changes all that.

Dougie

Park was Chairman. They are overseers, reviewers, top level oversight guys. not details and operational. So I have no axe to grind with him. Our post 55 stagnation is the responsibility of the doers and operational people ie Robertson,Wilson,Gio and to some extent Gerrard.

I think it’s pointless to use that as a dig at anyone there now tbh. 2 in 5 is probably more accurate. Still unacceptable but what happened to us was seismic. Park wasn’t there till 2015 and frankly what they inherited was a shell of a club.

Really? We were out of the top division for 5 years and had the spivs in charge for the early part of that. Winning 55, stopping their 10 and a trip to a major European Final last year, more than leave me with a warm glow for DP. Hard to think what you genuinely expected from the last decade!

Pedro

Regardless of the news that is breaking the soundtrack always raises a smile. And I hear David's voice as a series of lyrics.

Indeed a disgrace that we won nothing in the years before Park's was Chairman. And I'll say right now it's a joke that our next manager won fuck all for us the last 5 years.

Best to stay silent and have people think you are an idiot than……

Rona Bluebell

And you thought you’d get some time off for life stuff, David. Nope!

Billy Forrester

Be careful what we wish for, Douglas Park put his money in when we were on our arse and we have a lot to thank him for

Stephen Grant

Bennett is the type of man you want running the club but not sure if this is positive or no
